- This was all great, led to a lot of discussion in my comments today. The new YT channel format (which is set to be forced on everyone on 3/7 at the moment) makes the comments harder to get to, so I'm hoping at least that is revised... and maybe color scheme options too?
On Roo, you can see him at the end having trouble fitting 5 in... I think Mike wanted his first try to be his last. Very evil. Very glad someone used the SPs correctly despite Drew being particularly flippant about them today.
On Check-Out - this game is getting a revival on cars this season, isn't it? If you check out the other clip for today, you can see Christopher giving the cookie dough its due during his spinning. - Zábava

Check Out: I'd love to see someone figure out that this is just another variant on the Range Game, select a $4 range that contains the total, divide the middle by 5, and then guess the same price for each of the five items. The game would be much more exacting if they made it like Lucky Seven, added the amounts of the misses without allowing for correcting in the opposite direction, and the sum of the misses would have to be under some particular amount.

I don't like how Drew seemingly requires the second turn in Switcheroo! Contestants have the option to stop at the first timed end if they are confident in their price selections.

Not necessarily I think when the $2.00 rule was introduced in season 32 in 2003, it became it easier then. Besides. It had 2-6 in Drew's first year hosting, 7-9 in his third year, and it was only 1-6, so it hasn't exactly had winning records in Drew' era, but still, you're right on the fact the game has gotten a little easier, even in Drew's era of the show.

the worthwhile cars to win on the show are the Jaguars spider 458 maybe a Corvette or two but all the others are junk I suppose they beat walking
@WayoshiM Yeah I have, but at least a few years ago when they started to not sponsor some of the products, Rich didn't give us the bare bones description. It just irritates me to see George describe a bag of Doritos as "a ___ ounce bag of nacho flavored tortilla chips". I'm sure the production staff told him to describe the products that way, so that's the only reason why I don't put the blame on him; believe me I think George is doing an awesome job behind the podium (and everywhere else, haha)
They probably don't have the time anymore to do anything other than just gloss over the items. If I'm not mistaken, they only have about 39 minutes or so of actual air time in an hour because of all the dang commercials.

Um, no, I meant exactly what I said. Kane went directly after Drew at the 2001 Royal Rumble and Drew jumped over the top rope. And pretty much every time he's been on WWE programming since then, he has always feuded with Kane.

one thing I've noticed over the years is everyone believes that because it's price is right, that a car has to be expensive.. but that's not always true.. it's the manufacturers suggested retail price..not the dealer markup price...
Almost all of the vehicles featured on the show are cheap and shitty. This one included.
That was not evil on "Switcheroo" because "Dice Game" does the double digit trick all the time too. So, if you're calling this evil, than you're calling "Dice Game" evil too.

And guess what? Today, they played Dice Game with a price of $22,113. Which is just the second and last digits switched around.
And guess what? The contestant lost because she rolled a 3 for the middle digit.

Yes. But still, "Dice Game" is luck, and it wouldn't matter if the contestant knew how to outsmart Mike, because the contestant can still get lucky by rolling both double digits exactly, thus foiling his plan.

"Check-Out" used to be on the top of my hate list, but then "Pay the Rent" debuted, and I've definitely changed my mind. Now I see all the greatness about the game and think it's fun. But, it's still a pain when it's a car game.

It is _cookie dough,_ not cookies. You have to separate the cookie dough into portions and bake it yourself. Having shelf-stabilized cookie dough and fresh-tasting cookies adds a premium price. On top of that, California prices.
The 1986 run of Crosswits used computer graphics to display the score, but only displayed the score at the end of each solved puzzle, however. Not giving a player the option to stop was not a good rule change, especially when someone got three right on the first turn. But luckily this time the player didn't have the car right but did have the car right after the second turn. Bad game reveal this time. They should wait until after the small prizes are revealed to reveal the game.
Today's Switcheroo playing would have had a car win had the contestant been given the chance to stop after the first 30 seconds and she had stopped. But of course, that rule seems to have been done away with. And of course, today's reveal had the game revealed before the small prizes, just like this reveal.
I wonder if the players who weren't told that who had the car right the first time got the car. I'm guessing they didn't. Maybe that rule is no longer in effect.
This might be my least favorite TPIR game. This and Bonkers.
