Mostly the same here, but I didn't really like A plague tale the first time around so I doubt this one is for me. I already have Starship troopers too. The only one for me this month is the card battler probably, I am addicted to those lately.
Yeah, I think of the two card games the tower defence is the one I'd prefer - if I can work out how to get the tower actually defending :D I get what you mean about Plague Tale, it certainly has moments that are annoying but for a moderately linear sneak 'n' squeak I enjoyed it. There's a few great set pieces in Requiem that are cool, like a tidal wave of rats. I think that's in Requiem, at least :D
The whole game is about changing perspectives and there are characters who are different 'opinions' in the game; There is a fantastic set piece in one level where a load of bad opinions are singing about bad opinions, like pineapple on pizza or making a game into a musical. :D I think it's my favourite of the experiences, even if it is only 4 hours long. And to be fair to Zoeti, it's semi-poker hand style so it's easy to get into. It's just not for me. I found it a bit dull.
@@SlothrockGamingthanks - that helped me decide to not go for this particular game, as I love card games but don't particularly go gaga for the poker-style mechanics.
@@michaeltruong7428 Yeah, I found them a bit weird. Individual cards did small damage, a straight does a large amount and two pair is some kind of defence trigger. Which is super boring and annoying. Maybe it opens out later on, like a house decapitates someone. Probably not.
Yeah, I think sometimes it goes without saying - mostly I was more annoyed by buggy things that didn't work. I'd love to see Hyperviolent actually get their resolution / fullscreen issues fixed, but I feel like the project is abandoned given the number of weird bugs and things it has after a year in Early Access. They've kinda let themselves down. It got to a tech demo stage (it's made using Gamemaker) but then didn't get the polish it needs.
Personally not for me, but two good headliners overall
Heretic's Fork had a demonic Clippy!
I did appreciate that - I think I'll give it another go, just for that!

"**** weeb card game" lol that's a shame I was looking forward to zoeti. Thanks for the heads up that Figment 2 is a musical, that's interesting...

I was looking forward to the "I'm not the target audience" comment. It almost happened. 💜
