Incredible to watch! So grateful for your sharing this. I listen to this and the entire Kind of Blue album EVERY DAY.🙏💐
You're very welcome
Thanks for posting. As many times as I've seen this video, I never get tired of it. A true classic performance by legends.
Couldn't agree more!
Thank you so much Bret! Really wonderful. A big hug. Luca 😊
Glad you liked it!
Timeless art......Thanks for posting this incredible moment.
I've watched this video thousands of times. It never gets tired.
Best thing to wake up to miles and Trane
Oh, the way Trane waits… or can he? Thanks again ❤
Both!
Thank you ❤
Amen...
We need more of the Robert Herridge Show. So very well done! Thank you very much!
You got it!
Amazing times, wish was there...🌠
Us too!
Молодые, совсем ещё мальчишки, пионэры...
Merci MR Robert Herridge pour votre émission. l'orchestre de Gil Evans était aussi présent. Cette musique n'a pas d'âge tant elle est belle.
Et alors? Sublime😊
I've listened to KoB in it's entirety at least once a week for the past ten years, and it's always fresh. The perfect confluence of inspired genious, and I wish I had every single second of recorded material from those sessions. And this segment in particular, I always look for the astounded look on Miles' face after John's triplets at 4:41 and think "yeah buddy, right?"
Couldn't agree more!
Fantastic,Bret. WOWZER!!! Any idea who the Bones were? Was one of them Urbie Green? Thanks for a wonderful post. Blessings.⭐🌹🌞🌹⭐
Not sure, but I see Kai Winding.
@@JazzVideoGuy Thank you,Bret.⭐🌹⭐
@@BrendaBoykin-qz5dj @JazzVideoGuy Is that Winding? I always thought that the tromboners were Bill Elton, Jimmy Cleveland, and Frank Rehak looking L-R at czcams.com/video/2uTQQKU6ge0/video.htmlsi=yebStJyaYYI7Xuv5&t=448
Ruth/Gherig. Ali/Frazier. Rogers/Hammerstein. Some great pairs. But I'll take Miles/Train over all of um. Especially playing this iconic song.
RIP my musical heros.
Amen!
Thanks so much.
Thanks for posting this amazing video - way cool communication going on there
You bet
Great video. Thanks for posting!😮
Our pleasure!
Are there more of these early tv broadcasts and recordings of the jazz greats from this time period?, this broadcast to me looked extra special as if they were showing the country a new groundbreaking scientific development or achivement or etc, especially since it is from Kind of Blue.(and with the big ensemble ofc.)
Sadly, a only few have made it to the digital domain.
Terrence Howard on drums y’all 😮
can't wait!!
Wasn't Bill Evans on Piano or was it different for the TV appearance?
That is what trump said a day ago and I started humming so what 😂😂
No that’s not Bill Evans
💥⭕️🔴 GREAT VIDEO ! NICE TO SEE THE MUSICIANS , IN THERE YOUNGER ACE 🖤💙🌕 🥰🐦
@@joelglende5231thats wynton kelly
Dont want to make too much out of it but check the humility of Coltrane at 2:23-24 when he noticed the camera was on him while Miles was playing... He was truly a humble soul who just wanted to improve every day. Thank you, Mr. Primack for sharing this with the world!
Easily one of the most important videos ever produced
❤
John coltrane wawwwwww
Smooth…am there. Thank You, Bret
This seems like a great candidate for smart video upscaling.
That’s a good idea.
