    It is important to remember that these are peoples opinions, and are often based on personal experience. It does not by any means say that this is the "only truth." One should always use the information as a guide and learning tool - not as a "bible" - to do that is to do yourself a disservice. Having been on the judging side of things - fine arts juries - I know one thing for sure - a lot of it boils down to personal opinions and often jurors disagree. That said, if a work is incomplete or not ready - that too is a disservice to yourself - and to the jury... It is also important to know the festival - sometimes submissions are not appropriate for the festival...
