- Welcome!
We are a homesteading, homeschooling family of 7. Due to recent events (job loss/career change, health issues, rising food costs, etc.) we are having a hard time making ends meet despite our best efforts at frugality. So we are tapping into our local food banks to help us feed our family. Come along as I show you what we are blessed with, what we add to it via grocery store and garden, and how I use it all to nourish our bodies.
Thanks for watching and God bless!

❤ You do not have to explain to anyone about the amount of food you buy for your family.❤ Whether you eat out or you eat majority of your meals at home. You owe no one but your higher power an explanation.❤ Wonderful haul❤
Love watching all your videos 😊
Love to see your Aldi grocery hauls, it gives me ideas of things to buy and make. Also, congratulations on reaching 5k subscribers! I enjoy your videos very much. Have a wonderful week!
Patience is your biggest blessing. Your more patient than I am.
Your such a blessing to me, thank you!! God bless you and your family!!
Hey, thank you SO MUCH for the shout-out!!! 🥰💕🥰💕 I loved watching your haul and hearing how you work things out to stay within budget!
So impressive with your shopping and meal planning!❤️👍
SO fun to watch. Some day, I will go to the food store and buy whatever I want!!! 😂😅
I take unbaked manicotti put a string cheese inside of it. Cover it with sauce and bake it. It is so good.
I've been watching Ozark Family Homestead too. She is so good at finding the deals. I have saved a lot of money with Janice. Another one is Adventures with Danno. He keeps an eye on the prices and sales too
2nd this janice is awesome
I always watch Janice on Ozark Family Homestead my favorite is when she price compares with Walmart prices and shows how much she saves. I mostly shop at Kroger and Schnucks but I'm always looking for the markdown and clearance items especially the meat I occasionally buy meat on sale but never full price. I will occasionally shop at a store called value check they add 10% at the end of the shopping trip the price has to be really good for me to buy anything there. My guess at what you receive at the food pantries is more than $300 value.
I would guess so as well. I was trying to be conservative in that number.
Great variety of food 😊
I like Ozark Family Homestead as well I also enjoy your channel
Thank you for sharing! ❤
Great grocery haul!!❤❤❤❤. God bless you and your family!!!❤❤❤❤

Great haul! Love watching your hauls I started shopping aldi because of your hauls i also watch Ozark family as well. Take care and have a great week.
Love Aldi hauls , looks great 👍! I went yesterday to Aldi and got some great produce and cheese.😊
You don't have to example to us because you are wonderful mom ❤
I'm a truck driver too, I sometimes bring those dry meats summer sausage and whatnot on the truck with me.
We are maple syrup makers. I understand pure syrup is not in everyone’s budget. You can by pure maple extract and make a syrup alternative that would be healthier than the fake at the store.
How???
Love your channel I watch all the time, and I was happy to hear you mention Ozark family homestead... Love that one and watch all the episodes....I love seeing the family and how they all pitch in... Thanks for your video's
You should try EO for Everyone it’s 7$ a bottle it’s 3in1 soap shampoo and bubble bath the bottle is huge and it’s organic gluten free no gmos not tested on animals it’s so good
I'll look into that!
I’m trying to do lower carb options, but my blood sugar numbers are really good - mostly under 10. Things like white bread have spiked my blood sugars. I’m not trying white rice yet.
Yep, white bread, white potatoes and white rice are some of the worst for raising blood sugar.
My favorite thing to have on pancakes is peanut butter and applesauce. I watch Ozark Family Homestead too. She is great.
Nice haul I love aldis have you tried Facebook mp or a local buy nothing group for a free grill?
We have fix it...just finding the time. Lol
Good haul! What does your family think of that Aldi's bologna? I bought it a few weeks back and we did not like it at all. =(
It has been a long time since I bought it so I have no idea. Lol
I have a question if you don’t mind answering - you mentioned the kids have to go back for leftovers if they’re still hungry but I think I remember I you saying you eat leftovers on one of the weekend days for lunch. Does it ever get to the point where there are no leftovers for that weekend meal? Just curious what your back up is because I love your menu planning ideas & consistency!
I try to keep an eye on how many leftovers we have going and adjust how much I make at the end of the week. Especially Saturday's dinner.
But there are still times when we get to Sunday lunch and don't have enough. If that happens, I will pull out some other fillers like canned peas, cottege cheese, a package of hotdogs or hard boiled eggs. That usually bulks it up enough to make do. ❤️
That’s a good plan! Your attention to detail is really an inspiration so thank you!
Do you know if Aldi accepts manufacturers coupons?
I do not know.
@@weepingwillowhomestead Ok. I was just wondering.
Maybe have your own bee hive if you have property
Unfortunately we have conventional fields on 3 sides of our 2 acres that they spray and would likely kill the bees. 😔
I would recommend walking the perimeter of the stores and look for clearance stickers. My Walmart regularly has whole cold rotisserie chickens for $3.55, for a whole cooked chicken, you can’t get a raw one for that. I just found St. Louis style short ribs for $1.40 a pound. I got 3 packages of chicken legs for 74 cents a pound and large shrimp for about $5 a pound. They also have a baked goods clearance section and their Walmart brand pizzas are pretty cheap on clearance too.
You have 130.00 left not 120.00
