Sadly here in Poland ,geting a carp and overall any kind of fish is hard.. alot of lakes and rivers but they are very overfished by poachers. But that also shows just how our country controls this. When i was in the US (PA,FL) game wardens allways checked up on legal sizes and all that, but poland does not really have that and its getting hard to even catch a 25cm perch.
i was in Romunia for fishing and anyone can get away with poaching. I didnt even get stopped for not having permission to fish in Romunia..Its happening in alot of europe sadly.
A few days ago I caught a Karp on Bread too but not regular but it was sinking cuz I pressed it onto my hook to still see it i had to sort of Jig and he fully went for it he was about 40cm and 2 Kg
What lake is this i need a lake like that in my life all thr lakes by me are barren no vegitation no bird song and tranquility just a hole in the ground full of water and carp
its nice to get them feeding a bt but never put too much in.. lowers the chance of hooking one. Also a short rod can be nice.. but there is a lot of diffrence btween a 5 and a 11 foot rod.. id rather use a 7-9 foot rod when surface fishing.. better on the cast and on the striking.

Went to day for the first time in ages just using crusty bread on the surface. Caught a couple of carp. It was great.

How do you know when you have a bite when casting out 20-30yards maybe with one of them bubble floats on to help casting if you can’t see

Make some fake bread with pop up mix or bottom mix ,never hear of anyone doing it mine looks like real white bread.
