Hello there!
Ed here and welcome to new tutorial.
I am a subscriber of @pencilmation and I laugh and enjoy their animation. I thought of making a tutorial just like theirs, and here it is!
I have another video on the works and hopefully be done on or before Christmas. I've been pushing myself to finish it, but for safety, I made this.

In the Animation docker, there is a button beside Onion Skin called Auto Frame Mode. You can turn that On.

Can I ask why you created another layer to add colour? Can you not just colour the line art on the line art layer? Confused about layers and groups for this.
Hello there. The reason why I colored on new layers so it is easier to edit the colors, or easier to edit the line art.
@@EdTadeo Yeah that makes sense, pretty obvious. I feel stupid even asking.
I'm struggling to understand how you can add colour to line art by staying in the lines, is there a way?
1. I draw line art
2. I want to add colour to it ( add new layer )
3. Is it create a group and then use alpha inheritence so colour stays in the lines? Or alpha lock/clipping mask.
Or Is it only used for shading after the colour is down, still creating a new layer for that as well.
Hey ed .is it true right .the animation is so short but the time taken for it is more than we expect.
It is true. But if you don't have patience, then animation isn't for you. ;)
