100 USD is a **significant budget** for Coronation Market shopping
Yes, we had money left over
Must have been shopping for half their community. 😕
@@monalisa486
However at the **current prices**
Due mostly to the recent #heavy rains
100 USD (between 14k and 15k)
Would a **comfortable budget** to have
😊😁

Bwoy its videos like these make me miss home. Not everyday we need to see Jamaica in a negative light
Good job real down to earth coronation market style
The lady with red hair is the type of wife you need. She knows how to select good produce as well as find a good bargain.
I know how the market thing go sometimes things expensive sometimes things cheap.but the best time to go is like 4pm on a sat or Friday . You would spend half of what you just spend and don't go down there and speak correct English they will abuse your pockets .but appreciate the video .blessings to your family 🤗🤗🤗😙
Thanks for sharing I love that you have the cost breakdown in the description. Big up family
Price is ok on most things, I kept thinking of my family property, never had to buy ackee, breadfruit etc. As we had multiple trees of almost everything and grandpa loved to plant his ground......Blessings to you all.
That is quite a blessing. 😊
Wow ..organic food ...missing all of this fresh yellow yam....when dem reach the uk everything almost dry out ...missing Jamaica ...memories
I truly love this content,I'm a jamaica but i lived in Florida and it is very good for me to see what is going on in my country,I'm longing to visit but because of the covid19 thanks for taking me back the market i love it.
Not much people know about the old Train station 🇯🇲botom of Perching street . Thanks for the journey through your eyes
Just wanted to get some information and shopping at coronation market and this was so helpful thank you guys
Keep up the good work, always showing some interesting videos.
This bring great memories of my childhood, before migrating to Canada. Ironically my grandmother was City Councilwoman of Trivoli Gardens and the Supervisor of the
flowers garden. Thank you and bless you for filming Downtown Kingston Jamaica.
Truly,
Marline Jenkins

Love this version. Gives me the range of prices for when I go. Thanks.
Thank you for this vlog. The market look interesting. Miss Jamaica.
Dam that's not that cheap! My people need that cash flow to eat good. And that garlic is not Jamaican garlic.
Thanks for the update nice video
This was a great video. Brought back so much memories. You guys should shop at the markets in the country areas and compare the prices to Kingston
Beautiful fruits 🍉 Jamaican market’s are the best, I just subscribe to your channel.
Thanks for the upload guys! I really love these market vlogs!! But how mummy a hold on to the $100 so tight 😂
Mommy nuh want drop no ketch 😂😂
Hi thank you for the video ! Where's the best place to park which Im abke to put on my sat Nav ?
Love your videos big time, thanks for sharing
First...... finallyyyy.. love you guys
🤗 thanks for always turning up! Love you!!!
Much cleaner than i remember it. Superb picture quality. Are you using a gopro?
Nice to see you supporting local business. While I realize alot of us are on a tight budget, price shouldn't always be the only factor. Farmers have it rough too and I'd rather help them out. Hopefully they can hang in there without too much reliance on chemicals and keep the quality up. So what if you spend a little more on your food and skip a few beers. Priorities!
Hi guys !Delpratt family, watching to see how you do it !🇯🇲🇨🇦😂
🙌🏾🙌🏾 thank you
I've never been to Coronation and I want to. Thanks for the video.
You guys are awesome!
Hi lov ❤the Jamaican foods looks🍌🍉🍇🥑🥕 fresh and no chemical very health and organic this bring back memories when I use to shop me and family when I was living out their great place to shop👍👏 and buy ground provision lov this video take care u and family 👍🙏🙏
The healthy way is by buying Jamaican produce. So nice and fresh
@@TheDelprattFamily so true family 👍
Hail up to the Delpratt family enjoying your videos, bringing back memories. You guys must plant some vegetables though, 🌶 pepper, scallion and garlic easy to grow and supplement your budget. I grow them summer time here in the Great White North.
So true
Thanks for sharing with us. Blessings always.
😊
I always look forward to their videos :-)
Thank you!
Mi love the video 👍
Used to love going to the market
The Jamaican potatoes are drier, better for making potato salad, US for making mashed potato
Yes you are correct found that out after my pudding was like water
At least I now have an idea of the cost for ground provisions which I normally buy in the supermarket
This video reminds me of when I used to go to Coronation Market. Early on Saturday morning. Damn $100 US get you a lot of produce, pumpkin pretty. I used to buy St. Andrew escellion from this one lady. I used to go Princess St. to buy St. Andrew Yellow Yam. @Delpratt plant some pepper if you have space in the back yard. When I live in 🇯🇲 I plant because I had the space. Now I realize that I’m writing on the wrong market video. Cassandra had on a yellow blouse. I’m going to look for that video
You guys need to come mobay God bless what you would get . Things expensive down here . Wooo
😂😂😂 oh god 🙆🏾♂️
I see a lot of things that are very reasonable. And then it coronation market. Moray is so damn expensive though . Great video
Great video .
I feel like I was right there with you guys 🙏🏿
Wow mi leave Jamaica so long carnation market look so different. I always go to the east coast and Clarendon when I visit
Memories the old train station lol 😂

Big up y'all selves family. Some lovely products Inna coronation market. The prices them low right now cause me know them fluctuate from time to time. Love to see the support for the local farmers and vendors though fe real 👊🏿

I really don’t understand the difference in currency but the vegetables are fresh ! Love the video 💕💕💕🙏🏿✋🏿🙍🏿♀️
well I'm going try an buy wen ever I travel in Kingston caz in Santa Cruz expensive
Because of the continous #rainfall
The prices of tomato, sweet pepper and hot pepper have #significantly increased.
So true
Grapes 🍇 sometimes is 0.99 cents per lb & sometimes $1.99. Ripe banana 0.59 cents per lb. I think some things equal the same. Anyway thank you for sharing. I just saw the market video pop up but I’m still typing.
That's Chubby... "Solid Yam That"
Manchester mi born 🤣😂✅🇯🇲💯
Great video👍🏼I didn't know that Manchester peppers are hotter👀 Supermarket vegetable prices are almost the same though. Memba when market use to cheap.
We learnt that too. Interesting facts
You all makes me miss home real bad but as soon as covi is gone I will take a trip thanks giys
Yh, like it 🤗❤️
Nice video
Support the local farmers
I rather shop at coronation market for my produce rather than shop at supermarket ,jamaica mi born and grow mi always remember where i came from mi nah change
Tomato is short apparently. Got it in sav for $400 per pound. I could only afford half pound. You waa see the 5 likkle tomato fi $200..🤣 Those plantains would typically be $200 for one back this side. We'd never get those big plantains for $100. Everytime I watch one of these videos I want to relocate. 🤦
It's definitely more expensive now. Video done about a month ago
Just two years ago I could have gotten all of that for around 6g. Prices are now on the higher end now.. gotta add more to the budget.
Big up the Delpratt Family
🙌🏾🙌🏾
I loved this! I wished it was so cheap to shop in Canada!
Cheap and Canada are immiscible.
Dat naah go happen, dat will never happen !
@@f_a_reid86 lol. Tax deh pon everything up here.
Val a walk with her son & daughter-in-law.👍🤣 miss u val.
Now me can know what prices are like downa town before me come back come visit
Yam is $4.50 USD per lb where I live and sometimes the product is not good so those yam are cheap
Right I got a piece of yam the size of my hand for $20 my mom went to Jamaica and said don’t ever do that again
It would be nice to do a video about budgeting
Starfruit 💯
Onion and garlic #prices came down because the #supply increased.
I really enjoyed the video. The only thing that was missing was the reveal showing all the food you got
Thanks a lot and sorry about that. We did put a full list in the description
@@TheDelprattFamily Keep up the good work Delpratt Family. You guys are helping to break the negative narritive of Jamaica.
Yeah I was expecting to see that at the end
My wife has a business selling fruit and vegetables so was look for wholesale prices for her business
This is the real Jamaican ground foods, and vegetables, not like here in the States where you put them down for two days, everything rotten. I really miss my country food. #jamaica
I hope you wash the fruits because I bought some and ate right away and got so sick.
I learn something today.....Manchester pepper hotter‼️‼️
We learnt too. So interesting
@@TheDelprattFamily I wonder where the hot ginger is grown then....doesn't anyone grow garlic in Jamaica...always see the one from china
Fi real man. Never know either.
Less water makes it hotter dem seh.
Wid us money, Jamaica life nice fi real. Things cheap Jah know
Nice
Thank you!
I bet those tomatoes have taste. The ones up here just water and nothing else 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️
Not bad still still cheaper out there still doing my maths ere too🤣😂
Yea man. Prices not bad when u comapre to some other places overseas
That money can give u half pound of some things n a pound of some things. Just have to search thg through the market.
Unu smart, unu grow good... me buy a grung, me hardly buy pon cart... cart price different...
😂😂 u teach me supn. Next time den
Yes, cart price more experience
Meh waan come a meh yaad😁
😁👍
Manchester my next house 🏠 have these peppers
Hind sight is 2020. I don't know when you guys did this shopping but by November 10, after multiple bouts of rain the prices are through the roof. You should have bought everything you could blanch and freeze what you can cause I now hear $600 a pound for some produce after massive flooding on farmers fields.
So true sigh. This was done a few weeks before though
Boy, watching your video my sister surely did rob me
I was in Coronation Market November 12. Got yam for $80 per lb; pumpkin $40 per lb
Wow! Those prices are awesome!
🖐🖐🖐🖐
🙌🏾🙌🏾
The deeper u go innna the market the cheaper the goods
Real talk
Line man🤣😂
Didn't know Irish potatoes weren't grown in Jamaica as well
That lime man always jovial. ..I buy from him
you never told us the final price of the purchase s
It's there towards the end in an on screen graphic. Much love
I need that hair color Glam Ma details please
