Great S197 review. I own a 2007 GT myself that I love. I'm also a detail expert with over 20 years exp. It may be a moot point by now...but you asked about the best way to remove the velcro stickers from your leather dash pad. The best way is to heat it up with a common hair dryer - do not use a heat gun, thats way overkill. So get the velcro stickers nice and warm. Next slowly peel them up. Then take a micro fiber cloth and use Ronson cigarette lighter fluid to remove the glue residue. You can also use rubbing alcohol. the lighter fluid will work better IMO but both are safe to use and will not hurt you interior. Most people don't know that so I hope this helps bud. Good Luck
Good review. Not sure why this popped up in my feed, but glad I clicked on it. Only nitpick I have is that a Mustang isn’t a muscle car. It is a pony car, there’s a difference. GTOs, Chevelles, etc are muscle cars. About the only Mustang you could call a muscle car would be the Boss 429. Maybe the old Mach1 drag pack.
They need to keep everything off that digital shit. Cars look real good simple like this. Bums me out how everything is becoming digital.. Glad to see cars though still in that mechanical gage stage.
What people forget about the mustangs and Shelby's the reason why they are great value for money is because of the plastic. They made it plastic interior because they want people to be able to afford it for you only have the mustang for exterior looks and the engine buff said, like this comment so people know for god sake.....
I have the 2007 4.6L I use ethanol free gas and get 22+ mpg city. I found a set of 4 locking lug nuts in the spare tire compartment, they are in a bag under the spare tire. The shaker 500 has some better sound settings to choose from a menu, check them out. Mine sounds too good to replace for anything, I can also tell when the alternator kicks on as the sound does get a bit louder.
the bullet edition of the s197 had a spoiler delete from maybe u should look at it like that sweet ride by way had a 06 for a year it was an amazing car for the time
+ProjectSN95 Thanks! I like it a lot. I actually wound up adding a spoiler and I like it much better. They're really a lot of fun cars and I hate that the 3V gets so much hate.
+MrNewcaledonia Traction control may be standard, but all the aluminum trim is not standard. Drove several of these before I bought this one and it was the only one that had the aluminum trim.
Hey, be sure to get your spark plugs changed before you get too many miles. once the become too old and carbon covered they have a tendency to break when you do change them. (its a bad sparkplug design, that can cost a lot of money to fix if they do break )
I am looking to buying one in my area, it has about 151,000kms on the original engine. The car seems to be well-cared for. I am wondering, how long can the engine last? and the automatic transmission?
Quality video! Keep up the good work! I'm currently on the market for a 2005 Mustang. I can see yours is in great condition so I wanted to ask how much you paid for it. Thanks!
RCGCarReviews thank you man, most people aren't open about how much they paid for stuff they show, it's very helpful though because i'm about to buy the same generation mustang and need comparisons
Nice video, you covered everything. I think those stangs look good with a lott of potential. Its amazing how low your miles are for an 07, does the premium come with a performance package?
I have a question for you and feel free to not answer. I'd be interested in buying the fusion. Are you putting it up on cars.com or just selling it somehow else on your own. I look forward to hearing your response, if not that's fine as well. Congrats on the new ride by the way and keep the awesome videos coming!
I think I'm getting 05 gt, with metallic blue, white stripes. on the picture it looks like has a pro charger and cold air intake. I'm pretty sure because the think looks like a turbo chape. and it's only 16k 40k miles. do you think it a pro charger under the hood?
If it looks like a turbocharger but is belt-driven, then yes, it's some form of centrifugal supercharger. I'd be careful of buying a modded car...you don't want someone else's problem becoming your own.
Your door handle needs to be replaced I have a 2008 Ford Mustang GT premium black convertible 5.0 and you need to get that replaced because if you don't it could come off if you don't push it I. Good I would come off when your driving
+bikephil Only way to learn is to practice. I know you're the perfect manual transmission driver, so please, do me a massive favor and show me your ways so I can be perfect like you.
+RCGCarReviews I fried the clutch in a year in my first manual transmission car back in 1990. Just some friendly advice. When letting out the clutch, don't go full in on the gas til the clutch is completely released. The slippage when under full gas is what will kill it. Good luck to you. I owned a 1998 GT for several years and enjoyed it.
Just picked up an 07 GT with 35k miles on it! Loving it so far
just picked up an 07 with 30k miles on it,,cant wait to drive it next week and it has mods
Got mine with 157k but was kept care of and is beautiful af

Cool to see someone else has a premium, i have a 2006 GT V8 love that thing but someone drove in to it, the car is totalled
Same happened to me today. Not sure if it'll be totaled or not, but probably not. Hate it for you!

Some digital things look good mostly from ford.... Everything else is alittle extra lol
Getting a 05 GT in 2 weeks and I can’t fucking wait
You should try wd40 for the door handles, I had the same issue with my BMW
Good thing about Mustangs. They age really well! Still looks AMAZING!
+lpmoora Yes sir! They look great.
Need this as a car
Great video!!! Very helpful. About to pick up my first Mustang ever this week. Can't wait.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Congrats on your car! Enjoy it.

Just picked up 07gt with 50k miles super pumped
Should I get a Mustang like that for my first car cause I'm slowly trying to get an idea of what I want
+_ ClassicChrome01 I'd recommend one, but be aware that the rear end on these cars can be pretty lively. Very good & reliable cars, though.
+RCGCarReviews ok thanks I really like that car
goo b gone usually helps with sticky adhesive on your dash
Got one.Just a cool cruiser. With just enough pep.

very, VERY NICE video, you helped me decide the color. looks elegant, well done!
Thanks man! Appreciate it.

Dude, most of the features you mention are basically default on the GT, the TC, the aluminium trim and the shifter.
+MrNewcaledonia Traction control may be standard, but all the aluminum trim is not standard. Drove several of these before I bought this one and it was the only one that had the aluminum trim.
+RCGCarReviews the aluminum trip comes on v6 too

I've heard horror stories of the spark plugs on these cars... I'll get them changed pretty soon.
Awesome car. You should Autocross with this like you did the Fusion!
+maxxtruck9906 I might.... These are more straight line cars than autocrossers haha.
Lol. True. Drag strip time!
Just bought a GT 07 Premium with 6600 miles!
geez i thought i got a low mileage with 59k
@@driftcat7076 Happened by accident was on the internet and i found it by pure luck!
@@brentlittle8075 how much did you get it for if you dont mind me asking
@@driftcat7076 Paid 24680.00 plus hst. its a 4.6 convertible. They advertised it as a demostrator.
Been pretty happy so far just waiting for the inner door panels to fall off.lol
nice chirp going into second!
My doorhandles do that too I guess it's common on 2007 gt
I am looking to buying one in my area, it has about 151,000kms on the original engine.

Turtle wax makes a sticker and adhesive remover you can use
Great video! But are these good for daily drive? Also if you don’t mind me asking, how much did you pay? I’m looking for one for a low price
Will be getting mine next week hopefully.🙏🏻
Do a Tour of the XF and test drive plz you've gotten a lot better at them.😀
Tommy Bazile The XF isn't with us anymore... It was replaced by a 2015 Range Rover Sport!
thank you for the great review, really helped me with my decision to be made in the coming months.
+Brandon Gilbert My pleasure! Always glad to help.
Quality video! Keep up the good work! I'm currently on the market for a 2005 Mustang. I can see yours is in great condition so I wanted to ask how much you paid for it. Thanks!
$16,500 is what I paid. Thanks for the kind words!
i bet you have answered this before but how many miles did it have at your purchase time?, i'm looking around for my best deal
29,200 miles. Now has just under 45k.
RCGCarReviews thank you man, most people aren't open about how much they paid for stuff they show, it's very helpful though because i'm about to buy the same generation mustang and need comparisons
+GW any time man! always happy to help
Are you going to do a saying goodbye video with the fusion when you guys sell it?
+_ ClassicChrome01 I hope to!
I agree wih the cup holders!
great video bro! thank you for being so in depth! :)
You bet!
Bro literally named the exact car that the previous owners daughter used to back into the mustang and he said the oil pressure gauge was oil temp💀
Before you replace the tires do a video of a big burnout :)
RAJohnson713 You know I will!
+RCGCarReviews I really don't think you should sell the fusion just keep as a daily driver
+Ibby Alph The reason it's being sold is because it's got problem after problem after problem.
Oil pressure
Great video Reid!
TJC450 Thank you!
I don't think your door handle issue is a common thing. My 06 V6 stang in performance white door handles correctly stow after release.
Yeah, I don't think it's common either. Not sure what's wrong with these.
I am about to buy my mustang tomar!
peel those velcro straps of and spray the sticky residue with wd-40 and then wipe it off
Nice video, you covered everything. I think those stangs look good with a lott of potential. Its amazing how low your miles are for an 07, does the premium come with a performance package?
+real talk As far as I know, it does not.
you should do a goodbye video for the fusion
+DavidsCarReviews That's my plan
You should pull the fowm nugget plug out of your car so it sounds better
+_ ClassicChrome01 As stated before, the sound tube was added for the 2010's. 05-09 did not have the sound tube.
That was umm, quite a review umm. Great job umm!

sphenct15 Planning on selling the Fusion on my own. Are you located in the East Texas area?
+RCGCarReviews Louisiana but I was just in spring Texas this past weekend.
+RCGCarReviews how much for the fusion
This thing has an 8-track player? Why?
Why not just leave it stock, I just hope you don't do what you did with the fusion exhaust wise with the multiple switches
Brian Wafula I'm not going to. If I do exhaust on this I'm gonna do it right.
That's oil pressure, not temperature.
Good review, What price did you get it for?
$16,500
thank you!
My girlfriend said to use Goo Gone, they sell it at the Dollar Store.
dave11686 I'll give it a try! Thanks!

RCGCarReviews what problem it can have . blown engine ? it sold in the dealership
I doubt the engine's blown, but there are tons of other issues that can come up by boosting a car without the right supporting mods.
RCGCarReviews it does comes with a black box , looks like a tuning box, aftermarket air filter, fully mod
Fuckin hate the headlights
Itstimepranks Good thing it's not your car then.
cool
is that stock exhuast??
+Nick Martinez Yes it is.
Thumbs up for aggies.
I want this car
Me too :P
+RCGCarReviews lol
use goof off on that dash thats some good shit
I'm not a fan of the fog lights. And I honestly thing this gen was the second worst. The worst was the 90s
Im complete and exact opposite of you
I feel opposite
I have the same mustang, but how do i change the dashboard light???
Which dashboard light are you referring to?
the ones that say the speed and rpm's can you give me the steps to change the colors
Ah. I believe you cycle through the setup menu when your car is stopped. But it has to be a premium package in order to change that.
i have a normal mustang not gt, its a 2007 as well
Good review. Bur damn you say ummm a lot.
Use goo gone it will eat the glue
cool $ :-)
$

holy say the same thing over and over
