- This is my replacement rod travel case the old one just wore out after 15 yrs. I show how to assemble for every day use, when air travel I just secure the caps with duct tape and leave a little roll of tape inside in the event it gets opened by tsa
Cool idea.
The paracord on the end caps is a great addon. Totally cool.
Glad you like it! it is almost time for me to make a new one this has taken a beating but the rods are fine.
you prolly dont care but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account..?

Thank you
I enjoyed watching your video. One question though, why not glue one end solid?
I’m planning a trip by air soon and can’t find a rigid enough tube that I trust the baggage handlers with.
Will the other end cap come off easily?? Thank you for posting this video. It is very helpful.
Well when I fly use duct tape on both ends and not a lot just one time around or otherwise you raise suspicions and Homeland security open it to see why you put so much tape on it, it is not a big deal as long as you are following the rules. Also what I do is leave a tiny roll of duct tape inside the tube with a message to the homeland security "feel free to inspect also here is my phone number just tape it back up when done" and my rod and reels make it everywhere I go no issues.
Damn! There were four commercial breaks!
Sorry I have elected to have some cut out I don't like a lot of adds, I have asked to only have to adds which will help pay for materials to make these video
What sleeve covers do you have on the rods so they don't scratch? Great tips!
I have had them for so many years I do not remember
Here is a link to the 5 X 8 Teardrop camper I built for getting to those remote spots you can not access with a larger camper czcams.com/video/AjT8Vmnd_Dk/video.html
What is the pipe size bro? What is the inner diameter?
Yes sir this is a 4 inch sewer pipe but you can use a drain pipe which will be lighter and not as strong and should do the job. I used what I had laying around but when I replace this it will be with drain pipe to save a little shipping weight
How do you keep it from coming open
For shipping you just wrap it in duct tape it works great and it can be inspected and put back by the air port agents
DUDE YOU CAN DRILL HOLES AND PUT SMALL LOCKS ON THE ENDS
@@togo9970 yes a big bike lock
