Wow! This video has brough back memories. I was on Mount Nun(Kun) in 1993 and flew in and out of Srinagar, After coming off the mountain we returned there and stayed in a house boat on Dal Lake. I've never been back there, but have visited Ladakh (Leh), Kargil, and Padum many times in more recent years. I will always regret never trekking the valleys and mountains in the Hunza Valley or getting up and beyond Gilgit (areas I read about in books and inspired me to go to the western Himalaya). The journey to Kargil following the Indus River from Leh is an amazing one. A truly unique area of the World.
