I feel this is unncessary. If you are not able to live with this level of heat then this motorcycle is not for you. Maybe try a splendor or something. Honestly watching people do this makes me annoyed. This will not only cause further unwarranted issues but also void any warranty claims you might end up in because of the wrapping. Understand the basic essence of a motorcycle each part is exposed in a way that it can dissipate and manage heat in its own way. If you cover or wrap it there is no way it will be able to do that. I would suggest to remove it immediately before a major mishap happens.
Thank you for the info. There is no heating issue in the bike and I have mentioned this many times in my other videos. Especially the one in which I talked about the daily commute. In this video I have talked about the sharp hot air you feel when in tand still traffic. Mostly turning off the engine helps because it stops the fan. However I was looking to solve that specific hot air issue when the fan kicks in. And this is as always experimental I will remove/update accordingly.
@@OnceARider In summer heat dissipation will be a big issue. You feel more heat during standstill cause of reduced airflow and consequently more heating. This cover will trap even more heat, and thats the reason you feel heat is reduced. It would be better to leave the pipe exposed.

The wrap helps trap the heat inside and this helps hot air escape even faster and there is slight improvement in performance. I will remove those wraps soon if they have any negative impact. Believe me bro , ur pipe will be rusted fully and the heat u trapped inside damages the catalytic converter and other components of the exhaust and Ur pipe is going to rust in no time..believe me I have the experience of using this wrap...
Heat is caused by catalytic converter (a small bulge) in the header pipe just beside right foot, not from radiator, you could have wrapped further down covering the full catalytic converter part which should have reduced some heat
I have talked about the hot air felt on the right foot when the radiator fan kicks. Other than that there is no heating issue. Anyways I will do some more testing and share the results 😊
It's not recommended to use these wraps, the wrap will absorb the water if it rains and it will damage the pipe over a period of time causing rust issue.
Exhaust pipe rust anyway with time, but will observe for some time if it has more negative impact than positives I will remove it. However there is another theory that it keeps the heat inside and this helps air exit faster and there is slight improvement in performance so It is experimental for now.

I think 1/2" wrench set is not really needed and I am not sure about the Torx bits, I haven't worked on the forks yet. May will update once I get chance to work on those.
I will remove it soon. Just testing it for now whether it is making any difference or not. If it is useful to some extent then I will get my exhaust ceramic coated and wrapped.

@@thumptales right side pull is due to suspension setup both are not same. The left one is for compression and the right one is for rebound. Hence the right suspension doesn't support the weight of the bike and it pulls towards the right at low speeds. You can say this is the character of the bike and I would advise not touch it. However if the right side pull is bothering you then, you can get your front rim spokes ture in a way they pull to the left to counter it. But this will cause your handle bar to turn left automatically when standstill.
It's not about engine heat issue, in fact I never felt engine heat on this bike as I have told in my previous videos. It is about the hot air you feel on your right foot when radiator fan kicks in. This only happens on right the foot where the exhaust pipe is present hence it is clear that this is not a engine heat issue otherwise same would be felt on left foot as well. That why I am experimenting with the wrap.

I am not sure about it but I think, it should not cause rusting. And there are many benefits of wrapping it.

you are destroying your exhaust . it create resting verry fast

It is not a torque wrench, it's a normal 1/4" socket wrench set.
