Massive apartments like GTA are actually indoor apartments not outdoor where you walk up the stairs outside to go to your apartment.
Sometimes Indoor Apartments have some kind of Cleaning/Enginnering crew just in case the person has a issue on the apartments for ex Water failures, Electricity issues, etc

Yeah, so, in middle school, I woke up some morning feeling like I had water in my left ear. The entire day, I kept trying to work the water out, and it was really bothersome. Well, half the way through my art class (my teacher was super hot. That's the only thing I remember about middle school.) I feel the water start to bubble out of my ear. You know the feeling, it's weird, but not unpleasant. Well, the feeling was going on for a really long time, and it got to the point I couldn't take it, so I brought my finger up to my ear to help scrape it out. When I pulled my finger away, the body of a large bug fell to the table, and I had its head under my nail. My body shivered, and I screamed, throwing up my lunch.
    TL;DR fuck earwigs.

+N1gh!mar3 the problem is some people are afraid of butterflies or moths. another factor is because they are a pretty sight, you don't want to harm it, but you want it out of the house, so you desperately do your best not to hurt it as you try and get it out. as opposed to some other pests on this list

If you need a home-friendly way of dealing with fleas, try a diluted mixture of witch hazel and vinegar. These can kill them and also work as a good preventative repellent since most insects do not like the smell of witch hazel and vinegar works well at dehydrating them.

I actually had an Opossum problem. There were two, a male and female. We figured out where they came from and left food right at the little broken board on the back door to the house, we then had some McDonald burgers cut up, hot, and fresh for them. We poisoned the food before night time and set up a camera for them. We (Me and some family members) injected the burgers with a substantial amount of poison. They ate them and died in about 10 minutes. That's how I got rid of my problem.

ah, the house I lived in before was the first ground-floor house I lived in ever. We had ceptipedes, bed bugs, flies, mice, lice, rats, cockroaches, and a few more that I don't remember the names of. It wasn't our fault, honestly, the landlord had a basement left in shambles that no one could use because of the huge mold cultures in there. Not only that, but the house was just decrepit anyway. The landlord never cleaned the basement and sold the house to us with holes and broken screen doors. Some new neighbors had moved in on the second floor and started using the basement despite the landlord telling US not to use it. We've left that place, and I have a feeling the neighbors are now either dealing with more pests than they anticipated, or have a clean, fresh new lower floor...because every apartment we move to is only cleaned when we leave it.
Another thing is that that place was haunted, but that's another story.
