  • Automotive mechanics help keep the country running - but did you know they’re in demand? This video covers the training offered in UTI’s Automotive Technology program, available at one of our 11 campuses nationwide. Learn more here: bit.ly/3FOd6Z9
The demand for automotive mechanics is high. So high, in fact, that employers are constantly searching for qualified workers to fill the gaps. Automotive mechanics have the ability to work in a range of environments, from dealerships to independent repair facilities to rental shops.
After graduating from UTI’s automotive mechanic school, you can substitute your training for one of the two years of related work experience needed to become ASE certified, which can help distinguish you from others in the industry.
You can take the first steps toward an in-demand career as an auto mechanic. Learn more today at bit.ly/33Y9OoL.

Wow. Finally a college that actually listens to the people behind the market. They covered practically everything here. Impressive. Now let's just hope there are enough grants to go around with them high tuition costs.

If they attend a private school for $35,000, even if they are awarded a $10,000 scholarship, they are still paying $25,000 which is about 3 times more than going to a state supported community college. Also an A.A.S in Automotive Technology can be used in a 2+2 program to earn a 4-year B.S. degree.

This is how it works at our foundation and we also offer Life Happens, Strong Start and other available funds. @@TechForceFoundation I understand. However I just realized that most scholarships require applicants to have high grades in order to receive the scholarship.

@@AutomotiveForBeginners While it's true that many 4-year university programs often require high grades for scholarship consideration, and we cannot speak for all of UTI scholarship requirements, you may be encouraged to hear that the average qualification point for consideration for a TechForce Foundation scholarship is 2.7gpa.

@@TechForceFoundation That's not too bad. Although I recall scholarships only paying for a portion of the tuition as well. So even though there are $15,000 scholarships out there for straight A students, the tuition for them 4 year programs are going to be up in the $30,000. So it's an offer that is not really the greatest.
