The coincidence of living in the same apartment is like something that happens in animes. Perhaps they really wanted to live near the Cover offices and there are not many choices in the area? It's not too far fetched.
Given Kanade's reluctance to go out and get food (she said the nearest convenience store is too far away), I wonder if Hajime living this close to her will lead to some dependency on Hajime in getting food.

@@MrCh0o Yes that would likely happen. I'm not familiar with Uber Eats, but it seems like some delivery services offer discount if the total price per order is high enough. Kanade may ask Hajime to order together to get such discount, or simply to divide the transport fee.

I think what's more likely is there's been properties found that are amenable to people streaming and making noise in them, while also having good security for getting into the building. Cover probably has a list of at this point.

Also, the wifi situation in Japan is pretty fucked. Many apartment owners (typically older people) refuse to install good wifi infrastructure, and don't allow tennants to. For streamers wanting to live in a certain area they'd also be limited by which apartment complexes have good wifi infrastructure.

@@Steven-hq3go yes but I meant internet in general. A lot of housing complexes there don't have any type of internet, or very poor internet infrastructure. I'm not hardware-inclined so I can't explain it very well.

@@Steven-hq3go I'm assuming a lot of buildings don't have the wired connection to begin with. I stayed at a couple of Airbnbs there, aka just regular apartments, and they all used pocket wifis - basically a wifi router with an LTE connection - instead of a router wired into a hard connection.

It’s Japanese-English. Mansion = Apartment complex.
Most translators are so used to the Japanese meaning they don’t even notice it’s not standard English.

They're not living together. They're in the same apartment complex/condo and it just happened that Kanade's unit is on the floor above Hajime and, coincidentally, directly above hers.

Yes, Kanade moved to Japan 3 or 4 months ago and moved again at the beginning of the year😊
