Lauren Arnell wants two wedding dresses, one for the wedding ceremony and one for the reception. Catch Say Yes to the Dress on TLC - Sky 133, Virgin 162, BT TV 323
I love this consultant, her energy and confidence is so amazing. If I go there, I would love her to attend me because she has her way with words. LOVE HER!
I agree! She was happy she found the right dress for the bride and she was perceptive to the family’s suggestions, while listening to what the bride wanted. I also really liked how Brogan and the bride’s sister were on the same wavelength about the fitted dress: you look great even though you feel self conscious, but you’d just be better off to go with the style you feel beautiful and confident in. Like the sister didn’t seem to have all these ideas projected onto the bride, she just wanted to make sure the dress didn’t look too plain which is also what the bride wanted. Nicely done!
It was perfect. I feel that if she added a somewhat of a sparkly-ish belt that tied into a bow on the back it would have looked perfect. Not too much but not too little either
Two episodes in a row of a bride getting a dress that she likes, looks good on her, not a Dando Landon, and actually within her budget 👏🏽 Is this really SYTTD UK?
The last dress makes her look very elegant & royal. I'm glad she found a dress that she likes under her budget considering this is the UK version of syttd 😉
I love how the UK version is notorious for pressuring brides to up the budget because the consultant can't seem to find a decent looking dress thats under $5000 even though it undoubtedly existd lmao
@@katealexandra9493 I like the UK version better too, but they tend to put their brides in dresses that are over budget (in fact, they sometimes don't even try to keep the first number of the budget)
I would prefer if she choose dress that can transform from ball gown into tight fitted style. Its like having two dress but in one. I mean ive seen it before. There must be that kind of dress right?
People tend to forget about accessories. You can always spruce up a seemingly plain looking dress with a statement piece like a nice necklace or belt. I like the first dress. It's gorgeous. The third one is cute and look nice and light on her, but the first once give off that royalty feeling you know.
The first dress is my dress!! I too have something fitted and sexier for the evening. Also, that is NOT a duvet... that’s a Mikado silk, a very luxurious fabric. You go girl! Great taste.
I think the first dress was soooo gorgeous and soooo elegant and royal.. people forget that you could choose to add more bling on it in a chic way: necklace, earrings, bracelets, rings, crown, crystal belt, lovely long veil ec ..
Why wear wedding gown for just one day, cut it to tea length, dye it, cut off some bling or attach some colored bling or embroidery if its plain (unless u r highly emotional to save it as such)
jesus christ can they stop putting the brides in dresses that are over their budgets? A budget is a budget and the consultants should respect it. Not all of us can spend all the money in the world on a dress.
I love how she said the second dress doesn't do her figure any justice. She communicates so effortlessly a point that's easy to miss - it's the dress that's not suitable, rather than her body.
That’s actually exactly what I want 😆 I want a plain A-line off the shoulder “Belle” moment for the ceremony, and a slinky and sparkly “Ariel” coming out of the water dress for the reception.
for asian wedding it’s very normal to have 2 dresses. for myself i even have 3 = a traditional outfit for the ceremony in the morning, a white a line dress for the reception dinner, and lastly a lavender ballgown for the dance & after party 😁
Attended my friend's wedding, she had like 7 dresses to change from. 😐 It takes like 10 to 15 minutes for each dress change, which excludes the time travelling from the hotel room back to the reception. The number of dress changes indicate the wealth you are marrying into. The higher the better.
The first dress is amazing and classic. Why does everyone want so much sparkle and bling and detail? Simple is so much better...it lets the bride stand out
Agree and it’s the bride it’s all aboutxeci item you wei don’t like the wedding the wedding gowns of today lookmorelikrormlrenig gown to meanywyseems the dressetody lookmorelikrol gowns instead of a niceel ha tgon
It's their choice, their wedding, just because you think simple is better, doesn't mean everyone does, I personally would prefer a extravagant dress that just speaks extra.
Oh... My country too.. but most of us are renting the dresses and it's actually one packet with make up, accessories, grooms outfit, bridesmaids dresses, etc...
@@christafranken9170 We have a set of package include makeup hairdo and outfits for reception, cake cutting and dancing. I think we usually spend about 2000 USD on that.
I've hosted five weddings! Just remember that it's difficult to dance in the tighter dresses. I'm SO glad that the bride chose this one!!!! She looks so beautiful!!!
I love the second dress she chose. She had a great entourage. They were helpful without pushing their preferences on her and her consultant was just wonderful.
The wedding consultant was super nice and very down to earth! She reminds me of my wedding consultant! I was made to feel like a bride!!! Love her and love the bride she was very nice and confident and knew what she wanted! The dress she choose was beautiful but that first dress was her dress!!!
She looked lovely in her pick, but I honestly LOVED the first dress and it looked amazing on her. Oh, and the consultant in the end when the bride reared up, " AW, I WANT A CUDDLE " like, aww 😂😭❤️
One of the brides who hadn't come with set makeup and hairstyle to compare her bridal look in each dress. yet she looked so elegant and charming in all, especially glowed in her special dress.
You know you watch this show too much when you recognize dresses from other episodes....
Right?! I've seen a fitted, small ruffle dress in at least three episodes
no, pretty much every bride on UK syttd either goes with Dando London or Justine Alexander
Definitely
I was ur 1000th comment

Nicely done!
She handled it very well she said you are beautiful but you don't looks comfortable in this shape, not confident
That first dress was breathtaking on her.
Heidi Cook I really liked that one too
It was perfect. I feel that if she added a somewhat of a sparkly-ish belt that tied into a bow on the back it would have looked perfect. Not too much but not too little either
It was gorgeous and I think if it had a sparkly belt around it it would be perfect

I totally agree!

Tya Sasongko The tight dress was $2675, they tried 🙄
kitty62862 and it was a Dando London dress😬

@@katealexandra9493 I prefer Atlanta
Oh my god, some one who actually wants a dress that isnt blingy and mermaid. Thats refreshing and a hell of a lot prettier
I agree!! That's what I've always imagined myself wearing for my wedding in the future. It was really nice to see someone else have the same taste. 🙂
Is it the second one? From the episode with the girl who doesn't want the illusion fabric? 😂
I prefer a mermaid giwn only because a ballgown would overwhelm my body and i don't want to drown in my own dress at my wedding. I'm 4'9.5
Are you kidding ? I feel I always see an endless sea of ballgowns on this show x)
It’d be nice to see sleeve
I would prefer if she choose dress that can transform from ball gown into tight fitted style. Its like having two dress but in one. I mean ive seen it before. There must be that kind of dress right?
Yep. The big ballgown skirt detaches. The form fitting dress is underneath
They might of had that but i think it would be over her budget
But the issue was that she wasn't feeling confident in a fitted dress, that is not solved by having a 2-in-1 dress...
Yes
Blueberrygirl With a detachable overskirt.
first time seeing this consultant and i love her already! attentive, assertive and upbeat. hope to see more of her!
me too! I can't find her anywhere , unfortunately 😥

Agreed!
💯

omg yes. Everyone tends to forget that jewelry exists.
I agree. It looked amazing on her
Preferred the first one too
The first dress was the best wedding dress I have seen in this show.
Loved how simple it was at the front and pretty at the back
First dress was classic and beautiful on her
It was but the side boob wasn't nice.
@@pinkheart315 that's because it was big on her, it was a sample dress.
Timeless
The first dress is my dress!! I too have something fitted and sexier for the evening. Also, that is NOT a duvet... that’s a Mikado silk, a very luxurious fabric. You go girl! Great taste.
s I love that first dress; classic, beautiful fabric, classy but with a bit of bling at the back. Gorgeous.
I think the first dress was soooo gorgeous and soooo elegant and royal.. people forget that you could choose to add more bling on it in a chic way: necklace, earrings, bracelets, rings, crown, crystal belt, lovely long veil ec ..
First time I saw the consultant tearing up rather than the entourage... 🤗😍
LOL she just got married a month ago and actually still ended up going with two dresses!! The second one was tight fitted😂
I'm actually really glad for her 😂😂😂
So happy for her.
The first dress was absolutely gorgeous and I loved the simplicity of it 😭😭
The third dress was beautiful, but the first dress was my favorite it was absolutely beautiful in a simple sophisticated way, and looked great on her.
I agree with you 100%. The first dress was simple and elegant in the front and the back was to die for. It made her figure look fantastic.
The grandpa was so cute😍😂
Ik u joking but wtf
Love how they tend to be so reserved and sweet 😄
Having one dress for your wedding and one dress for the reception is awesome if you can afford it.
Why wear wedding gown for just one day, cut it to tea length, dye it, cut off some bling or attach some colored bling or embroidery if its plain (unless u r highly emotional to save it as such)
Because its money making business
I had 2 dresses for my wedding, and I’m so glad I did! My princess dress was fab for the day but couldn’t party in it on the night!
I've seen it, but usually it's a convertible dress. The train comes off or the skirt is detachable and there's a shorter skirt that buttons on.
@@antoniaclarke3079 Me too. My princess dress had filled with bugs by the end of our garden ceremony so I was happy to get changed.
Why does the shop assistant act like more of the bride of honour than the whole family combined

but the dress isn't over the budget?
Mary Frost The one she chose luckily wasn’t but the second dress she tried on was
Good thing you aren’t trying dresses there then? lol
Don't marry then 😢😢
Nounidh Dhillon you can get married and not spend thousands on a dress when you can’t afford a dress for that much

the first dress with dramatic jewellery...
The consultant is so genuine and cheerful :) Love her!!
i love this consultant so much especially when Lauren started crying and she said “aw do you want to cuddle”
she looked like a royal princess in the first dress😍...whoever didn't like it simply lacks taste.
Or they just have a different taste

I prefer the first dress though but glad that the bride found something she loved.
Can we talk about how beautiful her smile is. Like her teeth are perfect and she just looks gorgeous
The consultant is so cute ❤
In Cambodia we have 5 dresses in the wedding night. Yes. 5.
So, just for a clearer picture, how big a portion of your wedding would be spend on changing?

Maybe they didnt have 🤣
Usually more expensive, probably would have gone over budget.
I’m curious about whether the £2000 budget was just for the one dress or the two that she originally wanted?
I’m thinking maybe for each dress she chose. If she had been going for one dress it wouldn’t have been crazy to have a £4000 budget.
Pretty sure it was 2000 total. Keep in mind the mom didn't agree with 2 dresses, so I can't see the budget being 2000 for each dress.
The shape of the last dress was amazing! Made her look classy and fitted to the weist, loved it!!
