About Me
My name is Brandon Herrera. I'm the owner and operator of The AK Guy Inc, a 07 Firearm Manufacturer based out of Fayetteville, NC. I also co-own Stark Media Group, and designed the rifle known as the AK-50.

(As somebody who had to carry a government-issued AKM for 2 years a long, long time ago, I'll be fine if I don't have to touch another one ever again...). Still, that was just WRONG. Whatever your favorite platform is, whether you like AKs or hate them - no one should be allowed to torture and mutilate innocent firearms like that.

I mean my Dad does a lot of dremel work on his guns but to be fair he's a dental lab technician and basically used dremels professionally recently he has been smoothing out the ruger wrangler he just got an man is that thing nice now he took it from unfannable to smooth as soap

@@garyslayton8340 if it's a post ban, it requires a FFL/SOT license to possess and can only be sold to another FFL/SOT or the government. If it's a pre ban or a pre May sample, it's a transferable under a Form 4 and can be sold to a civilian (depending on state law, background check, ect). Therefore, there's no such thing as a class 3 license.

Coming from a country that hates gun owners (Australia) I have learned to love the AK47 through your channel.
As a kid I used to shoot 303's, M1 Carbines and semi automatic 22s i n Australia before the gun ban. Thanks for keeping my love of firearms burning in a representative gun culture caused by government. My wish list now is to fire an AK of any kind.
Yeah, the Australian gun laws are Next level. I did all my shooting post ban, but my Dad worked for the department of agriculture, and so we had access to a pretty massive arsenal, and a requirement and ammo budget to be proficient in their use. even access to the really restricted stuff like semi-auto rifles and 12 gauges. I quickly became a better shot than him, and so got subcontracted any time he needed to do any shooting. tough gig. I think its pretty sad 99.9% of my peers would have no idea how to butcher anything, let alone cure a skin. meat comes from a polystyrene tray, right? for years we had to hide our afternoon adventures from my mum, because guns are bad. but Ive some excellent memories of sitting by a creek with my Dad, a few bacon wrapped rabbits on a spit. and as time went on, we were allowed to actually use the kitchen, and I got a pretty dab hand at doing rabbit up for the pot. Thai green curry defiantly was the family favourite, the coconut milk really works with the lean meat, but I also got a few good recipes from my Gran, who was delighted that rabbit was on the menu and more than happy to show me how its done. "Better in the pot than in the paddock", wise woman. I've tried to bag Bunnies with a bow, but the little shits are just to twitchy. I'll own land soon enough, so I can get a legit licence, but I work in the city. oh well, patience.

This was an emotional rollercoaster. I went from "oh yeah, he fixed it" to "oh no, it was THAT bad?" to "oh yes, magdump it harder"

Same as the guy who built up a load of “Tippo 2” Garands here in Canada for a certain infamous distributor (quotations because they were commercially rebuilt surplus Danish Garands, not Italian or 7.62, they were just modified and represented that way to increase the price that could be charged).
Anyway, perfectly serviceable Garands and their parts ended up as scrap because of these guys and their German “gunsmith”.

I seen this AK on Forgotten wepons and thought why did the person think it would work in the first place, and now seeing that you awesome guys fixed it up to a proper AK47 like it is ment to be soooo freaking cool.

It's like that kid in shop class who spends over four hours struggling with a project until the teacher steps in and does it in 47 seconds.
A lot of the problems on the Krink are very common mistakes for first time machine shop students. I know from experience as I have made similar mistakes back when I was in school. For example the guy didn't change out the grinding wheel which caused grinding marks on the part. And the barrel not being completely concentric is caused by not properly holding onto the part on lathe.
More like the kid fucking bullshits his way for a minute and then the teacher having to take 5 hours to fix what they did wrong

Back when I was in Machine Shop class I had a classmate who was in the semester before me broke the 8 inch diameter grinding and he had to spend the entire day redressing the wheel. Grinding wheels are no joke if you were to screw up badly.

I did this with a bicycle last week. 😆 Built from a naked frame, from questionable Amazon parts, machined with a Dremel by hand, and miraculously working, now. It just needed a new... Everything.

Honestly, a lot of the tacticool gun stuff and ak enthusiasm seems more about having a tool designed for that, but intended more for giving the operator a fun day putting lead into a sand berm than giving someone else a bad one.
