It's a great series of books about Pip and Posy by Axel Scheffler. It's just perfect for kids ages 0-5.
This one is about: "The New Friend".🐰🐭
Pip and Posy are having a lovely day at the seaside, collecting shells and digging the sand. But when Posy has a nap, Pip makes friends with a boy called Zac who has lots more toys and beach gear. A funny and dramatic story about working out that two’s company and three’s a… PARTY!
Pip and Posy are typical toddlers: they are best friends and they have fun… but sometimes, just like any other toddler, they get cross and sad, so sometimes it takes friendship, sharing and understanding - and a cuddle - to make things better. 😉🐭🐭

The idea for these books came about when my daughter was at a similar age as Pip and Posy. They are meant to reflect the emotional drama of the everyday life of toddlers - the ups and the downs, and an up (of course!) at the end. All the stories follow a similar pattern with an' OH DEAR' and a 'HURRAY' moment. I had some help from my daughter doing the drawings that are supposed to be by Pip and Posy - she also once pointed out that I had forgotten to give Posy a tail on one of the drawings in "A Snowy Day".
I suggest you to start reading this series of books with your baby as we love them to read A LOT these days (3 years old).

Замечательная серия книг о друзьях Pip (кролик) и Posy (мышка). Примерный возраст для чтения: 0-5 лет, но это условно, главное, чтобы в радость.🐰🐭😍
Пип и Пози - типичные малыши: они лучшие друзья, и им весело… но иногда, как и любому другому малышу, они становятся сердитыми и грустными, поэтому иногда нужны дружба, общение и понимание - и обнимашки.
Эта история называется: "Новый друг".
Когда у Пипа появился новый друг Зак, то Поузи почувствовала себя очень одинокой. Но поход за мороженным очень сплотил друзей и они стали настоящими друзьями!
