- A fan made Halo Reach alternate ending. Since Reach was released there have been a lot of theories about how there is a Legendary or Alternate ending and a lot of theories about how Noble 6 could have survived. I decided to combine these into one and make my own ending.

The true Halo Reach ending! This would explain were Jun was and why instead it's just the helmet left behind.

Clone Sergeant Skylight i wish it was, but the falcon should have gotten blown up at the end because the story line is BEFORE halo ce, and noble six and jun aren't in halo 1, 2, 3, O.D.S.T, or 4

Well, just because you don't see them in the games doesn't mean that they didn't survive. Noble 6 died in the actual ending, but Jun is still alive and helped train some of the Spartan IVs.
Coalman Jun didn't die. I recommend you read the Halo: Initiation comics, because Jun is still alive and well.

Whoa,this is incredible. It makes so much sense because Jun could've finished escorts with Dr Halsey and came back just in time to save Noble Six before he gets brutally slaughtered by either normal elites or the special ones(I forgot what they were called.)

Yeah I get putting Blue Team with Chief if he had to have a team with him because they have history. But whenever you add chracters like Tanaka and Vail that you don't jave time to develop AT ALL, just add characters that we would know already

I have lately been thinking about the possibility of a halo game that takes place before reach and its noble 6 before he became part of the noble team. 343 needs to do something to cater more towards the bungie halo fans. I swear halo will end turning into the sonic series where the fanbase gets split into two categories The people who before the classics and the ones who prefer the newer games

I like the ending to reach. It shows his bravery and honor, as a spartan his loyalty to reach, he saved the human species. Even if he did survive they would of somehow had to fit him in to halo 1 and shit. Personally i feel like it made sense, bungie was showing there last fight for the halo franchise sense they were kicked from the halo team, it was there LAST fight, there last time, that's why.

This is the way Bungie should've ended it, Not kill the character you like the most. I mean seriously, every game in the halo series (excluding Halo: Wars and Halo 3: ODST) , we played as Master Chief, this tall green dude that is getting boring, let us enjoy someone other then Master Chief.

Thunderwolf Gaming If you survive long enough in the final level it will skip the cutscene of Noble Six dying and go right to the epilogue. So, this technically COULD be the ending.

This is actually really good, nice work!
The amount of work put into this short film is amazing. Great attention to the angles used to give a very "cinematic" feel to the alternative ending. It would have been great indeed if Jun DID come back and assist Noble Six during his last moments on Reach. The handheld scenes were a bit off and shakey, but nonetheless it had a very authentic feel all around; right down to the sound clips used and the last scene with the Mark VI helmet being equipped at the end of the video. The amount of wiggle-room that Bungie left for the zoom/normal POV is a bit difficult to work with, but it was still used very well in my opinion. I don't critique a lot of machinimas, but it is very rare to find a fan made film in this type of quality.

All the people who disliked were the covenant on that cruiser Noble 6 took out.
this would work for an ending more or less if you survived like at least an hour if not more and kills 100's of covenants ...
On legendary I only survived 21:17
On easy I found a way to survive forever, but you do have to watch out for vehicles and a few generals
this ending is so awesome, it had to be a ledendary ending

This is how it should have ended if you held them off for a certain amount of time. I hated how the UNSC just abandoned him because if you dig in the lore, you will find that Noble 6 was supposed to be the one to do Master Chief's job, Master Chief was more of a substitute. And also why does he get the Infinity to go across the galaxy to find Chief, when Noble 6 was there when the UNSC was still there and they did nothing!? It just is poor planning. Oh well, hopefully my oddly phrased and hard to understand rant makes sense to you...
Actually, the Pillar of Autumn was specially selected for a mission called Operation: RED FLAG. The mission was for the Master Chief and the rest of the Spartan-IIs to board a large Covenant ship and head to the Covenant "Home World" and capture one of their leaders to try and end the war, but when Reach was attacked, everything fell apart and John was one of the only surviving Spartan-IIs. Noble 6 was just given the task to take a fragment of Cortana to the Autumn.

In Halo Reach many things are different in terms of canon (Ex: The book had Pillar of Autumn in orbit already, where as it was docked in a shipyard in the game).But it says that Master Chief was going on thee mission to attack a covy ship and capture a Prophet, Noble 6 was just getting off the planet (And for Cortana to be his AI). Oh yeah, I should probably say nice Machinama! I meant to say that on the first post!

That was not the shipmaster at the end of Halo Reach, Jun didn't die in Halo Reach (ALL the Pelicans in Halo Reach have NOBLE on the side). The war started with the Covenant 27 years before the game Halo Reach. Everything you said is wrong.
have you read the bungie post? jun dies on reach and ive only seen like three pelicans that say NOBLE on the side out of the possibly fifty seen. and also the war was about the rebels on reach until, the covenant ATTACKED reach

I would have preferred this ending or one like this. Even though it was a prequel and we all knew Reach would fall to the Covenant, I hate the idea of the main character dying at the end. The first time I played I actually tried to run off into the sunset but that damn "return to battlefield" flashed across my screen lol. Nice work.

The Halo: Initiation comic series that came out last year shows that Jun is still alive. He's the one who chose Sarah Palmer to be one of the first Spartan IVs
i always thought that he was master cheif because of the halo reach campaign and
halo CE book that comes with the game says they escaped with last spartan.
He was in castle base when white glove was activated, him and some other Spartans escaped to the tunnels below. That is the last confirmed fact about Jun

Haha just my weird opinion!: on the helmet at the end there is a bullet shot, this cannot be, the elites had no weapons near him only energy sword.. I think noble six was saved and he shot his own helmet because he was getting a black or gold visor for his bravery and for being a noble soldier...

This would make a good set up for a Halo Reach II or an expansion on Noble 6's character like they go to another planet or Earth and help the ODST's or some cool other game like Reach. But I don't think they had the money or plans to do it.

What always pissed me off is that Jun stayed on the Pillar of Autumn to 'protect' Halsey. She was sorrounded by hundreds of soldiers in one of the UNCS's frigates, he was needed on the ground to fight covenant. If he hadn't stayed on the ship Six might still be alive.

you know Emile should of came out of no where walking slow because of his injuries.
its fucking Emile. hes a badass who can survive a stupid Energy Sword. he literally turned around and stabbed the guy. buy the time we walk up there to see him hes just lying there. i think he was knocked out because of the intense pain. i mean seriously i can see Emile in the Falcon with Patches on his stomach if Jun saved him before Noble 6. or him walking into the fight to join Noble 6s Rescue and get saved with him.

but with that said. of corse Kat, Jorge and Carter are totally dead. Carter was the only one who i think really did die.
because the ways that kat and Jorge die are so lame. like Kat just gets a Headshot out of nowhere with her shields up. and Jorge was Stupid to sacrifice himself just incase more do come. i mean he could of atleast let someone else do it for him. its just bad writing for them to die. it was. Carters was more better and made sense to knockout a Scarab with a broken pelican. duh lol
Emile did live the energy sword stabbing but he must of bleed out that can happen I kinda agree Emile could have live I don't think he would have bleed out the fast.

Jun actually has appeared a few times since Halo Reach. He is now a Commander in the Spartan IV program and trains the Spartan IVs. He recruited Sarah Palmer into the program, along with Buck and Romeo (from Halo 3: ODST).
Noble 6 has however been confirmed dead by Jun himself, so we won't really be seeing him again.

Funnily enough, if you read the description for the Commander Palmer Avatar armour on the XBL Marketplace, it says that she was" hand-picked by former Spartan-III Jun A-266 to be one of the first candidates in the new Spartan IV program", so it's either that he chose her before the Fall of Reach (which I find unlikely), or that he survived.
