  • Hello & welcome to my channel!
    I am Carolyn, mom to twins named Summer & Winter! In today’s video I’m sharing my honest opinion and review on the MOUNTAIN BUGGY BAG RIDER. We’ve used this for multiple international trips with our twin babies and we love it! It makes the airport so much easier. With that said, I want to provide a full walk-through of all the functions and reasons why I chose these bags. This video is NOT sponsored - it is simply my personal opinion and goal to educate other moms about this product and help other families travel. 🥰
    I hope you like this video and subscribe! It really helps my channel grow, thanks for your support! 💖

    Thanks for your video. I wasn't sure how to set it up when I got the bag because the instructions weren't very clear 😄

    You also have the Micro Mini Lazy Laggage as an alternative. I just found it and I think it looks so cool. But it doesn't have a harness, so you can use it from 18 months. Maybe that makes the Mountain Buggy Bagrider more useful, because you can use it from a younger age. But then I think you could bring the Micro Mini to a theme park and use it there as well. The MB Bagrider I would only see being used for traveling.
    And then when your child is 3-7 years old for airplane travelling I think the Stokke Jetkids could be the best thing.

    Loved your review! My son and I are flying next month and I'm planning to purchase this! I saw that this was 5kg and since hand carry for our upcoming flight is around 7kg, were you able to put much stuff inside this at all?

    • @SummerWinterMom
      @SummerWinterMom  Před 2 lety

      Thanks! Yes we were able to fill it full with all the things we wanted on the airplane with us! Not sure what the weight was but it was stuffed and still not too heavy. Hope you love it as much as we do!

    Thank you for the review... been eyeing this for awhile... I will be traveling by myself with my dog and baby... hopefully this will be easier for me thru the airport.. the only question I have is do u have to take everything off for check thru?

    • @SummerWinterMom
      @SummerWinterMom  Před 3 lety

      So glad I could be helpful! Yes we did have to take the babies off the bags to go through security and that part can be a little bit of work but just give yourself extra time, it’s a pretty simple process - also make your liquids and baby wipes accessible (then you don’t have to open the bags through security) Outside of that it was really easy and definitely helpful. I hope you have a great trip!

    Hi! Thanks for the video! 😉 I’m considering buying one of these but I can’t decide whether an umbrella stroller is a better option or not 🧐 I guess with this suitcase you have one less thing to push around and check in but if we’re flying internationally for over 9 hours I feel like my daughter wouldn’t be the most comfortable. Were your kids annoyed with being strapped in all the time at the airport? My daughter is going to be 1 year old when we’ll be traveling from Europe to the U.S. She is still learning how to walk and she can’t stay still.

      @SummerWinterMom  Před 3 lety +2

      Our twins are in the exact same phase - both just started walking & can’t hold still! Perhaps seeing them in action during our travels will be helpful in making your decision. We loved using these bags 😁 I hope this helps!

    Hi can you put this one in the overhead cabinet on airplane?

    • @SummerWinterMom
      @SummerWinterMom  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi! Fits just like a normal carry on bag -the wheels fold down and the handle goes down. The seat material gets stored in the bag.

  • @imnanan
    @imnanan Před rokem

    Hi there, we just bought this and realize the dimensions is bit bigger than what is allowed for carry on. Did you have any problems with it fitting in the overhead bin? International flight says 22*14*9 is allowed for carryon but the dimensions of this bag is 20*15*10 so im worried if there would be any problems fitting in the overhead bin. Thanks.

    • @SummerWinterMom
      @SummerWinterMom  Před rokem +1

      Hi! We had no issues! It is pretty small and has fit easily in every overhead bin we’ve ever had to put it in on multiple different airlines. So hopefully the same goes for your travels! Hope you have a great trip!

    Does the handle close when the seat is on?

    • @SummerWinterMom
      @SummerWinterMom  Před 2 lety

      The handle must be up for the back wheels to pop up, and for the seat to be used.

      When our twins were under the age of two we booked them as “lap infants” so they would sit on our lap or we would bring the car seats and hope there was an extra seat available. Then after they turned two we would fly with car seats or just have them in their own seat. I’m not sure if boosters are available; this is not something that I’ve seen but you can always ask they airline. Some are more accommodating than others. Happy travels!
