Bob Bailey took over the role of Johnny Dollar. In April of 1956, it moved from the 8:15 to 9:15 timeslot. Enjoy these three five-part adventures of Johnny Dollar. The Johnny Dollar series, was one of my favorites. I especially liked, Bob Bailey as insurance investigator, Johnny Dollar. I heard that originally Dick Powell, was offered the part but he turned it down because he didn't like the concept of a insurance investigator. Take care 📻

I like Gerald Mohr as an actor. But I’m BB spoiled. Mohr is a little too laid back. BB has a certain controlled intensity & a wide range of emotions from delicious snark to anger.
