- matt and lee took a trip to Drayton reservoir to see if we could have a good day catching carp !!
but we didn't expect the carp fishing to be as mad as it was! using 12ft zigs as the method of choice we set out to catch 20 carp between use but we didn't no that it would be 20 + carp each fishing at Drayton is one hell of a way to get a bend in the rod and for the first session of going out for a few runs in 2024 the carp fishing couldn't of been better . Drayton res is a very well none runs water in the uk angling as you can have massive hits of carp in a day . with the lake rumoured to have around 7000 carp in theres no wonder people have days like me and lee did on there. - Sport

no its a little step over a wall onto the wooden platform its not to bad

Yes mate get the zigs out never fished down the boards so I hear on the bottom is good the further up the lake you go but if your near the dam deffo get on the yellow zigs spodin hemp and corn over the top

i was using tapered and lee was using naked as far as i know

Condition of those mouths is shocking to see i only seen 1 with a good Condition mouth

the problem is its an ex match venue so the fish have been ripped in in the past so yeah there not great
