No doubt...and I got one of their multi purpose pouches coming up in a video. I stuffed my entire SOLKOA survival kit in it, idea is to do a quick 24hr trip with just the kit, a canteen and knife. Stay tuned.
Been wearing the lapg “operator” pants for a couple years at work. Fade a little faster than 5-11, but the stitching is good to go, and they haven’t frayed. Zippers and Velcro all intact and functional. For less than half the price, big win. And FYI, they take rit dye really well once they do start to fade. Definitely didn’t know they had jeans. I’m gonna order a pair now!
I buy and repair used goodwill , carhart, wool, flannel, take old worn out boots and have them resoled and add kevlar laces, surplus store insulation like polypro . 7$ dollar sun glasses (ugly stik) from Shakespeare and a casio mq-24 10$ dollar watch when I go grayman. After I sew and repair my clothes I throw em in a cement mixer with sand and gravel to wear and age em then wash with oxyclean and dry em on a close line outdoors . My Sling bag (man purse) are the heavy duty coin canvas bank bags that I added a rope drawstring . SERE additions are silver or platinum button backers on the jeans and shirts. Add a sharpen drywall / paint scraper tool and a sock full of quarters as a SAP and yer good to go ........oh a grow a beard and don't get a haircut. A visit to a 5 dollar tanning booth or bed will help your homeless look ............ my grayman basics .
Wow man. For my pants believe it or not. I use wrangler from walmart. First i try them whenci was working on roofing and well i like them and since then i have 3 pants thatci just use for every day and they are good for that gray man mindset.
I stopped doing the whole TAD stuff when the sold out to hipsters. Pants I’ll usually go fjallraven, outer ware heavy fleeces Helikon Tex! And pentagon Tactical. Sadly the shipping rates to Canada from my favourite U.S stores have tripled (in some cases) self reliance outfitters wanted 89 usd shipping for a 5 dollar stainless steel replacement lid! Thanks for the good video
Hmmm Pentagon Tactical...doesn't ring a bell will have to look em up. The shipping to CA is indeed overpriced, I can ship to Western Europe for only a few more $
Great review. I would probably lose the flannel and jacket being in FL too and replace it with their Long Sleeve Tactical Field Shirt. Looks like a fishing shirt everyone wears. Will blend in better. Keep up the great job!
I'm up here in NE Florida where you can actually need a jacket and flannel...well for at least Jan and February...that being said I do like their field shirts, would blend in nicely thanks for the comment Wookie
I feel you man, I'm looking into the same stuff. Helikon Blizzard pants and 5.11 is what I've been looking at. I also gotta buy the same for my wife. I guess I can't complain, a decade or more ago I paid $150 for Affliction jeans and $40 for several Affliction tees lol. Still got the jeans so I suppose it's not all bad. Helikon also has pants that kinda rip off Fjallraven pants but way less money. It ain't easy being green, or grey I suppose. My wallet thanks you for the options.
Well this is true lol, I've been known to blow money on fashion trends before...like my ongoing Air Jordan collection :D I do love the Helikon and Fjallraven apparel, but right now I'm sinking my money into beans bullets and bandages, can't justify the price tag :)
@@TheSurvivalOutpost shit I hear that man, 5.56 ammo is a buck a round, if you're lucky and can find it. That's my main focus right now as well. I wanted to get merino wool base layers for myself, my wife, and two kids, but dang that stuff is expensive lol. I also need to get slings, red dots, and weopons lights for my two AR15s. It never ends lol
Funny thing about "gray man" is the more "gray man" you try to be the more you seem to stick out. If you just dress like others do in your area your good. I am in the PNW. T-shirts, Hoodies, stone washed blue jeans, and baseball caps blend in like camouflage. It's funny to see the "gray man" video dudes with thier $150 pants, $300 packs, and thier tactical looking ball cap. They literally scream "I have a gun!" More than the guy wearing the Molon Labe shirt. Just dress low profile. No name brands or flashy shirts. Keep your jeans simple, and don't flare your self and your good.
Pretty much spot LAPG stuff or someone trying to look "greyman" a mile away now. I just think when that guy walks into the Wally World he's got gear or guns in his car. I wouldn't ever steal but I think of the line from My Cousin Vinny; "Yeah,... you blend" , now he's a target.
@@TheSurvivalOutpost lol i am one of the oldest lapg customers and they still do not send me product lol i have spent at least $500 in clothes through them on there brand and promoted them hard with the airsoft community

Been wearing their stuff for a few years now and they are probably the best bang for the buck.

i 2nd that 👍👍
I’m surprised you can get that many pieces of well made clothes for that price. I’m gonna have to go check out their site. Thanks
Cool glad you like it

Excellent review. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work!
Sink the pink, it's all fashion.
I should probably dye my hair some obnoxious color as well...all the cool kids are doing it.

wrangler is good to go and probably made in the same sweatshot that makes 5.11 or LAPG lol

Bro your jacked . Looking good man.
🙏
Love LAPG. Underrated and excellent products.
Totally agree!
It seems like they stopped making these flannels, what a shame
Yeah it is a shame best value and quality
Hmm is LAPG going all fashion conscious now? That's not a good sign
flannel and jeans seems typical enough
Oh no! 😱 how will we ever make ourselves a target with tactical gear now

@@TheSurvivalOutpost I'm in central FL so I don't use a jacket that often. Also I'm a Wookie so jackets are overkill.
Really like the jacket, indifferent about the pants but seems like very nice gear for a respectable price
Thanks glad you liked it. Jeans are def my favorite

I would think that jacket could be sprayed with some waterproofing, just a thought, I like their stuff, but don't own any yet, thx for the vid.
Good idea your probably right 👍
I like Tru-Spec clothing
Truspec is a good price and value
Check out the LAPG shoes.
will do
That whole outfit was nice and the price is really good. I really like that jacket and the inside is really nice. Going to check them out.👍🍻
Thanks so much! I've never done a review like this so the good feedback is much appreciated!
What about the bigger guys I'm 6ft1 350 pounds were a 4-5x shirt due to my shoulder being so wide and size 50 jeans
no idea, check their size chart, might have something in your size
Outstanding 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Will check them out💪🏼🇺🇸
Cheers!
The operator pants are fantastic for $19
cannot beat $19!
For EMTs the ankle pocket is perfect for nitrile glove well at least thats how i rocked my back ups when i was on duty
I got a pair of police boots from lapg and they feel so good on my feet and they were only 30$
That's a good deal!
How are the fit in flannel? I'm in between sizes as in xl n XXL so wondering what would be best fit
good fit, a little bit of a taper
Nice gear. What boots are you wearing?
5.11 Cable Hiker
Where did you get your morale patch from on the recon jacket?
Zulu Foxtrot iirc. It’s called the death card
@@TheSurvivalOutpost Thanks brother!
I'm always on Amazon looking for military and tactical gear. Do these guys sell on Amazon?
Yes they do, here's the link: amzn.to/3cx5ZJK

You hit the nail on the head, dress how others dress in your area. For me thats jeans, flannels, boots etc. For you its a bit different and so on.

haha that's a great line and great movie
Its 20 minutes from my house
Shipping is a bit high though but they have discounts on stuff
Seems like there's alot of known brands in the state...never had noticed before.
