My input is simple to buff range, remove visual recoil to allow for higher zoom sights and sights warzone had the vlk that’s why there was a more diverse range of weapons used.

The fact the superi didn’t get nerfed kinda shows they don’t care. The usage rate of that must be insane and it’s absurdly strong.
Like he explained in the video, the constant trend of nerfs is getting old. It takes out the only enjoyable gun atm and doesnt give anything to replace it. We need buffs and exciting meta changes not these nerfs that leave us searching for that next best thing. Which in my opinion is depressing af.

@@Geezy096yes! Buff all snipers to one shot headshots. Adjust the “range” of this feature as to balance ADS speed & BV. Have some 1/2 shot shotguns to combat smgs. Buff the explosive weapons and ammo types. Open the meta right up.
@@Geezy096 the biggest issue is, IMO they are incompetent at weapon balancing. They always over nerf it. Like waaaaay too far. The meta right now with the superi sucks. It's ttk is entirely too fast to be able to compete with it. The other guns shouldn't be buffed to that TTK. They should lightly nerf it to bring it back in line. Maybe a few damage points per shot. But just 1 or 2. Nothing drastic, but enough to do a little less damage to be more in line. The only reason they do it, is to sell more blueprints for the weapons.

In Warzone 1 there were other snipers and marksmans to fight Kars and there was little recoil nowadays all weapons have loads of recoil and all snipers that could challenge the Kar have either no 1 shot head shot or to slow

that gap is where DMR's like the EBR, Interceptor, and KV Inhibitor fall in, it's weird that no one uses these. AR's shouldn't be able to take fights at 200 meters regularly, maybe some LMGs, and battle rifles when purpose built for it, but not AR's. that long-long range fight should be bolt actions, and DMR's. weapons with calibers like 7.62x51, .338 Lapua, and 6.5 Creedmoor.
Sadly, there aren’t listening at all. I log in at 18:00 and they’ve removed rebirth duos so I can’t play the game this week. No interest in large map or playing with randoms because they’re dreadful.

lol the ar meta still sucks, this is the result of them constantly killing damage ranges and other obscure stats on guns rather than just nerfing the first and 2nd ttk ranges as form of balancing. It is the reloaded update and the ar are practically unaffected with these changes.
They need too balance out the current server issues before they even lay their hands on balancing weapons.

The reason the kar98 wasn't tier 0 back then is because movement was cracked back then, we had a 3x optic with recoil control and no glint to hit fight back with and high bullet velocity in AR's
The fact that i still dream of Grau and Amax is all you need to know.
The smg meta was also way more competitive back in the day.
Now its just top heavy with guns that have blueprints available in the store.
How to balance the long range meta(cqb is in an ok spot rn with superi, mcw,bp50, horus and wsp9 which most smgs(mw3) being usable):
All bolt action weapons in the sniper category oneshot to infinity, except the spx and LaB.
Spx, Kar98, Spr, LaB oneshot to a specific range. About 80 m when built for max range. Their flinch should also be increased to counteract „shotgun snipers“
The KV Inhibitor and Signal 50 should also oneshot at all ranges, but should have atrocious ads, even when built for ads speed should be minimum 600ms, also add a ads transition inaccuracy that some of the snipers already have so that you can’t use them as shotgun snipers as well.
That should balance all snipers.
For the AR/LMG meta:
All ars/ lmgs should receive Bullet velocity buffs, excluding close range ARs like the chimera or the m13c, that makes the max BV you can achieve with the long range guns between 1200 and 1600 m/s. Exceptions can be guns that should behave like the amax, meaning high damage on LR but mediocre bullet velocity. That would be the Kastov 762, the bp50, Holger 556, tr76 Geist, sidewinder, Mtz 762 and bas b.
The other guns should also all be buffed in damage slightly to drastically to make them feel better.
The guns that require the biggest buffs are the mw2 LMGs like the Sakin and the RAAL. I’d go as drastic as saying that you could increase their damage by 40 to 60% while still being balanced, to counteract, we reduce the ads speed to 700ms.
For the other Marksman Rifles: it’s simple, buff the damage and bullet velocity and the recoil till their at least statistically comparable with the best ARs, considering that you won’t max out the fire rate for most of the single shot weapons.
The spx and lab 1 shots? I dont think so

Iirc one of the other things that made the og Kar more balanced was that it seemed to be a 3 body shot knock pretty often at a fairly closr range. At least in Cold War and Vangaurd. Cant remember how it was in MW2019
The kar did bout 100 dmg to everything except chest shots, but did 150, enough to 2 shot to the upper chest

KAR98K nerf was so unnecessary, everyone was using it BUT it is not an issue. It needed a max damage buff tbh
Kar98 combined with aimbot kill the game to me. In verdansk was the same. You do a great game and all of a sudden a player kills you from nowhere in the air falling fast
I don't see how the Devs thought this was a good idea. It shows they cater to the cheating streamer and don't really care about the majority of the player base.
What?! We’re finally going back to the old IW 8.0 Engine?! Yes!!!!! Warzone 1 here we come!!!! I hope they give us Verdansk back for a year whilst they make a new map. Thank god, no more back packs, terrible buy stations, awful guns, horrendous lag and micro stutters, no more server crashes every 3-4 games. Can’t wait as it’s going to be so good going back to something that worked and where we had so much fun! Oh… they’ve nerfed the Kar98 and buffed a couple of guns.
They are listening? I can bet with you that for several weeks ricochet is off , doing nothing. Usualy i get confirmation of reports every week , now for some weeks got no confirmation and theres cheaters everywhere.

I was telling a buddy that the other day. The Swiss did what the Kar98 did but better imo. That's why the Kar98 wasn't so overly used bc we had options and if you didn't want to snipe you still had a load of ARs that where damn good. Even the worse AR from wz1 is still better than the best AR now

It's almost like lowering the obscene amount of HP players have to the point where every gun is lethal actually makes the meta more flexible. Who would've seen that coming?! The hilarity that the simplest solution has boomeranged back into Raven's face.
The shotguns still are in the shadows. But still the Spas 12 looks like it's broken.
Hope they don't nerf the last good thing the shotgun category has right now.
I hope in the next seasons we get a much interesting meta adjustments. Even in Cold Wasr we had great mw2019 guns

I wasn’t begging for the Kar to come back but the community was and now that it is, everyone’s crying. I don’t think it needs a nerf-I think it needs a decent counter. A decent DMR or distance burst weapon like WZ1 Aug/M16-or even what we had with the MTZ 3 tap not too long ago would be great to counter this Kar meta

I've been using the soa subverter a lot. Low recoil and high damage for long ranges. I feel it's probably top 3 rifles right now.

It's tough to make everything balanced because the literal streamers and content creators they post and talk about the best guns and ppl obviously use them every gun will never be equal there will always be a best and everyone will always gravitate towards that best
Still nowhere near enough velocity on the rifles and lmgs and recoil is not low enough either. That's what has killed challenging against the snipers. The flinch you could rain down on the Kar etc with the M13 and Grau from 100 plus meters would make it so competitive. The rifles now all feel crap to use :(
We are seeing buffs that don’t do anything to the meta. The bigger issue is that 300 HP works well for close range and bad for long range. Warzone 1 didn’t have 300 HP until Caldera and not even caldera at launch. When you are talking about the Amax we are talking about guns that guns which were killing in 600 to 500 ttk at range which is not what we have anymore.
Iron trials had a more competitive META with 45 round mag weapons

I'd like to see all the snipers and Marksman rifles to be 1 shot within their first damage range. Also guns like the MX9 and the full Auto MCW 6.8 deserve bigger mag options. Also the Lockwood MK2 AMP should allow us to just use 1 shotgun with akimbo as an option
Thanks Zach. Appreciate the optimism and the positivity. There are a lot of good things about the game in the current state and it's good to see them buff a number of guns to make them more competitive. I do think that in order to see a significant shift in the meta to drive new DLC purchases, they have to make new guns clear winners like the KAR98 and like the Superi. If an older gun is close in terms of performance, lots of casual gamers won't make the switch. I think they need to nerf the ADS, fire rate, and damage distance for the KAR98 so that most people that you run into aren't running it. I do wish they would introduce a larger mag of the BP50 and maybe add a little bit of movement back. :)
Honestly if they just actually buff the mw2 guns more consistently instead of the bare minimum, then we could actually be able to use them without having to worry about getting bodied by som MUCH BETTER mw3 gun ir the kar

They still have some time, before BO6 comes out to continue with this positive trend. I congratulate Activision with S4 Reloaded not breaking the game and adding good stuff in Multiplayer.

Warzone 1 always had 5 odd guns in most categories that were very good. Now its hardly 1 or 2 and that meta lasts for 2 months or more.
Man. It felt great last night. Kar 98 wasnt so overpowering disturbing SOAB. We actually won more games. And on top of it all there are more balanced weapons to choose from. Dont sleep on the Holger 556, Scar H ansd the BAL 26. Lets gooo
The Kar is a marksman rifle so actually I feel the nerf was perfect. It should down at 100m. Snipers for long range and MR for quick scoping and medium range.
It’s kind of annoying that they Nerf guns because I buy skins and ultra packs because they have cool skins for good guns I enjoy using and that money isn’t nothing they Nerf the gun and now you don’t even use the gun you spent the money on because it’s no longer enjoyable to use due to changes. I wish there was something they could do to balance the game that wouldn’t ruin beloved guns.

I was going to say the sniper meta was way more diverse back then too cause when the Cold War got inter grated people were still using kar98k but then you had alot of people using the Tundra Pellington and we can’t forget the Swiss K31 which was like the best sniper at one point an just as snappy as the Kar98k

The meta couldve EASILY been DG58, SVA45, BP50, MCW (kit), Bas B, Puly, Bruen... With HRM9, AMR9, Striker and Striker 9, WSP Swarm, and WSP9, Superi, and FJZ Horus... With snipers being the Kar, Mors, Stalker, and Katt...
Man just think about that for a aecond and see how healthy the game state and meta would be across both Rebirth Island, Fortunes Keep, and Urzistan.
Each of the guns i listed all have slight over lap but essentially perform differently and fit different niches and play styles, at the same time allowing for this games signature feature of Conversion Kits to be fully in play.
I think they messed with Aim Assist on more than just the Kar98K. Felt awful last night across the board.
They need to stop with nerfing everything they need to buff everything that you can play with everything so that it doesnt matter if you use a dg or a holger or something else

Something they don’t seem to get:
The Kar98 was not overpowered. Yes, the aim assist change makes sense. Beyond that though, it wasn’t that it was too strong. The issue is that a whole play style is not even an option right now in the game. People wanted to have something that was fun to use in a sniper, and the Kar is just the least terrible sniper right now. People are starved for that play experience, so when something came along that finally offered it, yes of course people used nothing else.

And I’m not saying make snipers the only good long range weapons. Make ANYTHING actually good at long range, and we have a start. Make snipers better again, make LMGs better again, and make ARs better again.
This isn’t the right video to post this on, but wondering if you know how to fix. Got scuff and PS5 and if I tap my ping butting it pings. However if I tap for a millisecond too long it changes the fire rate of gun to single shot and it I hold it even longer it pulls up the commands screen for if you don’t have a mic to communicate with team. Is there anyway to turn off everything except ping? I only want it to ping lol, sometimes I press too hard and hit that fire rate one and die because of it.
uhhh, honestly not sure. Maybe could mess with the binds in the controller button layout settings in game perhaps?

A step in the right direction, but a few of the assault rifles that got buffed are still underwhelming 😭 but we’re getting there
If they cared, the MW2 guns would be updated by now to be viable. And how does it make sense that multiple high caliber, bolt action snipers cannot 1 shot headshot, but the Kar98, a marksman rifle, can?
I think another reason the Kar is different now has some to do with its exciting feel. Before it was kind of like old reliable. There were other contenders in the category and there were constant new ar metas being added. Right now its so new and exciting, but im afraid if the community gets too butt hurt before the devs can find a good spot for it we will lose it again 😢
Should buff up some more battle rifles and marksman rifles and then we can truly have varied weapons and not the same 2 or 3 weapons as the meta.

I think the Kar98 Nerfs are great for MP, player more than a few games lastnight and man the lobbies feel amazing it doesn't dominate MP before BuFF!
It’s wild keeping track of the group of people that get the most say. They literally cried the ttk was way too short in warzone 2… but the exact same people now that the ttk is absurdly long are now crying foul that they nerfed a 1 shot sniper that could down someone from just about any range with 1-2 shots. Yet, any other weapon outside of the sniper class takes 10+ shots to down people.
So now you have to nerf the piss out of the kar or buff every weapon but rendering the obnoxious ttk they’ve added over the last year to keep those same people happy. You can’t have 1 gun that destroys everyone in 1-2 shots regardless of range and the rest shoot marshmallows. If they left the kar where it was and then buffed everything they would be crying for a ttk buff. It’s both hilarious but mind melting watching the pointless changes over the last year that made all these updates pointless because it just came full circle
The long range meta is only the Kar. Ars to lmgs cant even do anything. Close range is mid since its only superi. If they bring back the striker 9, hrm 9, ram 9, amr 9, etc. Then itll be much better. The long range meta needs a damage range buff, BV buff, gun smoke buff, etc. The amount of smoke hindering your view is crazyyy
Why nerf the Lockwood mk2 lol?! The akimbo is not easy to use and so fun to use. All they do is F with our minds...
While I do appreciate your positive thinking I still think we have a long way to go until the meta is balanced. There is no other viable sniper alternative, and all ARs and LMGs are very underwhelming and cannot compete with the KAR.
Back in the WZ1 days, toy had the AMAX that high damage and relatively high recoil, the grau tha was zero recoil and other snipers that could be used as well like the SPX.
This update made little to change the fact that almost everybody will be running the Kar/superi loadout.
we're far from there, but this last update is the first time in a long time they ended up focusing on buffs, which hopefully is a sign of whats to come
Sorry to be nagative. This game hasnt been this bad for a while. Party search, hackers/aimbots etc, sweats, lag glitches, crashes.
Then they nerf the Kar and tell us its all ok as they are listening.

How many ARs have been actually viable in warzone 3? Maybe 3?! It can’t be that hard to have all those ARs on a similar playing field with a few buffs/nerfs. Maybe if they spent less time and resources on skins they could fine tune the weapons better 🤷

You should make another video for the servers and call out Demonware. Maybe they’ll listen and finally update the tick rate on the servers so they have better stability and can actually handle the game
