It is nice you ask. First time i heard a little more of Turkish music when i was in Turkiye 2008, during that time everywhere promoted was Tarkan ;) What i heard in radios played in some places got me interested but not to the point i fall in love. Then i loved Sertab Erener version of Bob Dylan song "One More Cup of Coffee" (much better from original) from her eurovison single, eurovision she has won of course. Then much later i found some Turkish radios and Trt and got much more interested in Turkish music but i really fall in love immediately after seeing Nefesten Sese tv show, for me the best music program i ever seen.
