Differences between Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian and Montenegrin language are similar to differences between British English and American English. Almost the same language with some different words and accents. Bulgarian, Macedonian and Slovenian are very close but with bigger differences. I was in Sofia for work and got along just fine using Croatian language. I found Bulgarian people very friendly and willing to help!

Although I don’t understand the Croatian language at all (I’m from the UK) I completely FEEL everything he’s saying. He won fair and square, and he did a great job with the song. He wouldn’t have embarrassed himself because he was one of the best vocalists in this years competition. I think you need to go away and understand the uniqueness of this competition and how people bring a different flavour. If everything was a typical modernised ‘bop’ or stupidly quirky then Eurovision would become a generic music show.
What a Great singer and an Amazing song! The Croatian language is lovely and I am very glad that Croatia sent a Balkan Ballad to show some Tradition and culture!

About the heartbreak after which the guy, remembering his past love, thinks of his impression of her, as of a "wild wind" that passed through his life and left nothing behind, except heavy sadness, "in colours of the autumn". In our language, lyrics are written in a VERY poetical style.

Pa malo tko će reći da je pjesma loša. Problem je u tome što je prvo polufinale iznimno jako gdje je praktički već 6,7 polufinalista zauzelo mjesto za finale a borba za ostala 3,4 mjesta je između ostalih uključujući nas. Pjesma jeste dobra ali jeli dovoljno dobra da se istakne i nekako prođe dalje, e to je druga stvar.

Komsije super ste izabrali, mladic peva od srca i ne samo to, gledati ga kako peva je ogromno zadovoljstvo! Stvarno me je dirnula pesma. Na zalost, kako i cesto se desava..... mnogo nacija po evropi ne razume melodije iz nasih krajeva. Jednostavno vecina sa severa i neki sa zapada nisu muzikalni pa nece nikada razumeti pesmu kao ovu.
