Do you detune your board if so where on your board and how much I still wanna lock in for jumps tho
I don’t normally, but this season I did. I detune in between my feet mainly. I do not detune my contact points. That’s what engages your carves. And you’ll never slide a rail that far up on your nose or tail to need to de tune your contact points.
@@_Boarder I heard that from a few people as good as you are do you feel that it’s not needed to detune because I am ok on rails and detuning a tiny bit helps me a lot
@@milotorres7966 if it feels better/ safer for you to detune, I’d say send it. A lot of my friends detune their edges like crazy. It’s just never really been my thing.

Loving the vids, how long are you hike sessions for? I get tired after like 2 hikes and then I rest but then it feels like I'm not doing much the whole day
The hikes are usually 5-6 hours.. I have one coming out soon where it was only a 2 hour sesh.. I think the amount of laps you can get is dependent on the chair you have to take for whichever park. In my case, I wanted tube clips. So me hiking one tube will save me 5 minutes per attempt. Instead of a 7 minute bottom to top chair ride. Basically I can hit the tube 5 times hiking for the equivalent of 1 chair ride. I’m sure that’s confusing to read. My apologies!
Also, I just realized this is the video with multiple rails. I still think that logic applies. If you’re going after a trick, I’d say it is faster to get it of you hike, but more taxing on the body.
