Boy, I just love any movie from the late 40's, the 50's 60's and up to rhe mid 70's. Also love the way people lived in the 50's. Love thre way people dressed decently, love the houses and the carrs. Above all low crime rate, family unity, resoect for the elderly. Above all, there was no cell phones and internet to tie us down.

And no tats or piercings, no pink and green hair, no rap and hiphop, no garbage music, no trash culture, there were ladies and gentlemen in those days, there were 2 genders and 2 pronouns, the law sided with innocent civilians and victims, politicians were honorable and respectful, we manufactured over half the world's goods and really were the richest country, I could go on and on but you get my drift.

As a kid i always felt black and white was much real because our tv was black and white ... As i got older ... And watching this colorized i felt a sense of realism which i could never achieve before ... It was kind of relieving the movie with a sense of grown up feeling ... What a fantastic idea to colorize this feature ... Thank you ... I was able to captivate a true sense of understanding ... Mystery Mountain ... Fisher of Rolando ... Nuclear physicist ... Radio active emissions ... The picture of lincoln and if i am not mistaken General Patton ... The laboratory ... All this added a touch of truth to this movie ... John Agar an incredible actor ... Rat brains, pig brains, bird brains, and a few human brains. Or, in a butcher's shop where there are cow brains. Some people eat cow brains. Hard to find in meat shops. When I was a kid, my father's friend Lawrence, like to eat cow brains. Tongue, too. When he and dad slaughtered and dressed out one of dad's steers he raised on our farm for meat, Lawrence would use a big axe to crack open the skull and remove the brain. I did. Good money, very boring.
Wish I'd done a lot more camping, hiking and exploring when I was younger.
Fun film. Burgers made me hungry, but would have been better with fresh tomatoes thin sliced onions, and crispy greens.

Robert Fuller will be 90 years old next month. Happy B-Day, Bob!

What's so special about some stinky, over-heated, miserable third rock from the sun? Well if inflated, floating mottled, beach balls is your thang, bring some towels, sunglasses, sand & ye bud light. Lets party with these aliens. Can u say "golden turkey"? OW!

Never saw it in color until now. The only thing I remember in the early '60s was the music scaring the living daylights out of me. Especially when they were cut off in the cave- I got so scared, I hid my face because I thought it was going to engulf them like carl in journey to the 7th planet. Only to find out later watching it again, that it merely entered Steve ( John Agars) body.
