- Video from my sister's 6th birthday party at the Showbiz Pizza in Roanoke Virginia. Pardon my dad humming at times lol. You could tell in the birthday celebration part that the waitress didn't quite know the script and Billy Bob was helping. Includes full Micheal Jackson melody.

Just a few interesting things to note;
- Fatz has the rare ShowBiz-made jacket here. These were made by ShowBiz Pizza themselves rather than Creative Engineering.
- Fatz spotlight also appears to be out, and Looney’s is messed up (it isn’t even pointing at him!)
- Mitzi appears to either be low on air pressure or have a couple of movements out. Her body turn doesn’t appear to be working.
- Notice the little kid climb on Billy Bob’s stage (around half way through the video) and slap the guitar 😂
- Also those “birthday spankings” from Billy Bob would never be allowed today!!
I much prefer Creative Engineering’s showtapes to ShowBiz Pizza Time’s. Aaron Fechter didn’t treat kids like they were stupid.
Also, one of the center lights on the organ legs is burnt out.
Amazing, just how different things used to be. Thank God I grew up in this time as well. Just look Billybob giving Birthday spankings, that would never fly these days. Amazing video thank you for posting!

Oh WOW, I lived in Roanoke when I was little - this is the location I went to so many times! I remember that spaceship ride and the ball pit with the slide and those springy animals. I also remember thinking the band was singing "I'm mad, I'm mad, you know it" when they sang Bad (hey, I was like four) - it wasn't until later on when I learned who Michael Jackson was when I realized what the song was actually called. Mom has a few home videos of me and my friends there, but I have no idea where they are.

I've never seen a Beach bear with the guitar strap going over both of the shoulders. Also I just noticed that one of the light bulbs in Fatz's tune machine is burnt out.
Yes, I noticed that, too. Also, I think the curtains were supposed to open on Billy Bob's stage at one point? And it also appears Fatz's main key light is out.

I grew up in Salem and remember going to this place up on the hill as a kid. The mom at 16.49 with the cigarette in her mouth is the best part

Was this on Electric Road? There’s a 3-stage CEC on Electric Road, so that means it was an SPP.
Did you ever go to the SPP in Lynchburg, by the way? I think it stuck around until October 1993 or so.
Yup, on Electric behind the "Ground Round". Never went to the Lynchburg outside of visiting relatives back then :)
