The funny thing is Liverpool actually showed them mercy after the red card and just wasted 30 mins without really trying.
Not because they wanted to be nice, just because they didn’ have any reason to keep going. It would only exhaust the players so be playing at full speed, and increase the likelihood of getting an injury. It was also an absolutely secured humiliating win, because never in a trillion years could a 10-man United score 5 goals in 30 mins
Yea, you could clearly see they backed off to conserve energy and as the United players had taken a major strop and decided at that point to just keep hacking down our players for badness, it was better to call it day at 5 nil and leave them alone in their misery 😂
