Hello, Emma!! I'm a quarter Japanese, born and raised in Japan with just a bit of roots in Manchester. Saddly, English's pronunciation, as well as its grammar, are a jumble. (But I was able to conquer the R and L sounds, which Japanese are thought to be weak at!) I finally landed on your excellent channel to learn the basics of pronunciation. Thank you a great deal. Hello Ms Emma, my experiences with preply were not always good. But some teachers were very good, other not really. Since Corona i had oly contact over Internet. It is possible but not optimal.
I'm sorry to hear that. But you can find teachers who don't quite fit what you're looking for anywhere. Preply has thousands of teachers, so FOR SURE, not all of them are going to be the best fit. 😄
