With full steam up the Mount Rigi

On two weekends in the winter of 2017 there was full steam on Mount Rigi. Locomotive H2 / 3 No.16 (SLM, built in 1923), one of two still existing gear steam locomotives of the Rigi railways, stepped up to the summit of the Queen of the mountains. The video shows the two trips from Vitznau to Rigi Kulm from the observer's perspective along the line, as well as from the perspective of a passenger. On the second trip, the foot of Mount Rigi was cloudbound up to Rigi Kaltbad. The more spectacular was the view of the mountains after the clouds were broken through. Up to the top two water stops were necessary and the impressive sounds of working small locomotive gives an idea of the effort also in the film.
