The way he narrates stories about Sehwag, Nehra and MSD and feel proud is exactly the same way as a parent narrates about her kids' childhood.. This clearly shows that besides leading India, he had taken this responsibility to nurture these players to become future legends.

2007 T20 WC and 2011 WC was won because of the team made by Ganguly..
He changed the dynamics. They were lazying and had a very laid back attitude before he became a captain but he brought them together.. it was hard, they couldnt win all the matches but he totally pulled them together... and after this interview, i think he was literally a mother off field to so many players. Respect!!!

I was watching IPL opening ceremony 2015 which held at Salt lake stadium, Kolkata. There were anushka, Virat, Hritik,Farhan, Shahid and many others. In spite of all these celebrities the crowd felt boring after some time. Realizing this, the camera man zoomed on to Dada, and the roar crowd gave at that time !!!!!! I realized the power of Dada at that moment !!!

Only those who have seen Indian cricket before and after Dada can understand why I respect this man so much.....Before Dada we had strong teams packed with the most talented batsmen who would often collapse spinelessly in crunch matches or in front of stronger teams (especially Pakistan, which would spoil our mood for days)....But Ganguly changed it...after his captaincy, even when we lost, we would be fighting, the days of spineless collapses had gone.......This man gave me and my brother many happy memories...

Late nintys and early 2000s, Australia was a monster team. Good height, good stamina, perfect timing, and they always gave 200%. That was the team dada and sachin tendulkar faced. Can't compare them to todays players.
