Most important thing I’ve learned is be careful loading and aluminum truck as it’s easy to smash the sides and while loading you can blow the opposite side of the trailer apart. Literally blow it out. Happily haven’t had it happen and the Forman watched me load one out and gave me many tips. Yeah I work for and old Italian family so the tips were being yelled at me but I definitely felt the love.
🤣 Were there many hand gestures involved?
so grateful 🙏
Love all the videos man.. you helped me a lot.. shout out from 🇨🇦 my instructors show us your videos for class time
Thanks for sharing this - I work for a municipal now and occasionally get to use our Cat 930G loader, which looks very similar to this one in size and layout, although ours is old and somewhat tired, ha! While I am not the primary operator yet by a long shot, I do try to run it once in a while on less critical jobs to get some experience. Your videos certainly have given me some tools for my skills tool box on how to get better at running the loader. Like you say, stick time is key. Stay safe!
Thanks for the comment
Great tutorial. Thank you.
Just started as the backup operator at a saw mill and it’s a different beast in the winter with icey logs
I'm from Perú, I'm learning to operate front loader, and love your videos.
You’re welcome!
excelent!!! I love the pronunciation and the tone of his voice.
Thanks for the comment!
Thats so inspiring learning from Kenya
Great video again. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the comment!
Thanks
@Heavy Metal Learning shaking the bucket especially when loading slightly damp top soil is ideal to make sure it all goes into the dump bed. i've seen operators on track loaders do this too and they also have what is called the auto kick out or auto return to dig.
Because of this video I've gained a little more confidence in myself looking forward to my exam
Awesome to hear....thanks for the comment!
Thanks video was 💯
Fricken awesome video!
Frickin love this comment!
You are too good my Man
This excellent thanks to learn from you sir
You're welcome...thanks for the comment!
Very good teachers
thanks
Thank you very much
My third day running a loader....I was working at a construction dump, my area was the shingle pile...I was doing a pull off on a very very steep hill at an angle...well trying to get the chain and tire loose from the pile I raised my bucket as high as it would go while at the same time backing up at an angle backwards down hill..do I need to tell you what happened or can you guess?.....yes I flipped the machine completely over...wheels in the air and all....that was 6 months ago....and now it feels like I've been running a loader for years now
I'm learning to operate this type of heavy equipment loader and it's a old looking one with two levers on my right hand side I enjoy it I just need more experience I have a hard game getting a full bucket
I'm a trainer/assessor, just keep at it man. You will learn the hydraulic feel and get the muscle memory on lifting and curling the bucket. Most new people forget to keep some acceleration while getting a full bucket cos once you let go on the force you can't really push the material in as you curl. But your post was two weeks ago so you should be just fine now.
Very nice
Thanks!
Good luck
Nice tutorial sir
Thanks and welcome
nailed it passed the course oh year
OH YEAH!!!!! CONGRATS MAN! Where was the course you took? We are getting ready to launch some of our own certification programs so would love to learn more about what you took.
Would love to see a video on loading a truck please
Thanks for the comment. Yes, definitely think we could do a future video of that. Stay tuned....

Wow
Can u please do a video on loading a B double with High dump attachment

I need a video on how to build a ramp . A lot of times at the job site when you’re making a dirt pile you run out of room and you need to go on top to dump dirt there .
I'll see if we can do something there. Usually loaders aren't really good at "building ramps" though. Key is always to start pile far enough back so you can work your way back out (not vice versa)
Heavy Metal Learning thanks for replying . I’m just talking about getting on top of a dirt pile that’s already stacked as high as it can go and once you can’t dumb dirt any higher you need to get on top of the pile and start dumping dirt from the top of that pile
@@acenday1437 got it. Unfortunately from my experience is very tough to get a wheel loader "on top of a dirt pile" just because you really have to have something compacted down in order for the traction. Usually dirt piles by their nature on not compacted and thus trying to get a wheeled machine up them is very difficult. Maybe another operator who has more experience might be able to comment with their suggestions....
Trying to get my hoisting license , these videos help. Thanks!
Good luck. Thanks for the comment!
@@HeavyMetalLearning thanks!!!
Do I need the bocket really be fully open while loading?
how do you drive a wheel Loader on the main road and what hazard should you look out for.
Thanks for the lectures sir, I love them. I'm about Cameroonian and really wish to undergo training in operating this heavy machines. So possible is it and the cost please?
Best we can do is offer our videos....sorry
Please add videos of how to operate underground loaders
If we ever get around one of those we certainly will. Thanks for the comment!
Wow..!! You're a good teacher sir, and you know what? I always dream about to be as a machine operator but because of been expensive and its cost a Lot's of money. So, if I may ask you sir how much money can its cost in order four me to know that machine sir? Because you're have motivated me so much sir, and i like the way you're teaching sir.
How much money to learn? Doesn't cost anything to learn....just keeping watching our videos!
Ohohh..! So, i can know how to operator that machine just through watching the videos bosses ugh..? And am really really enjoying your videos bosses very much bosses but with all my life I want to be a machine operator and more especially that one wheel loader bosses
👍👍👍👍👍👍
thanks!
How old is the loader in this video, is it only used for training or on job sites also?
I believe that is a 2017 unit (definitely newer). It’s not used on a job site right now, we use it at our Extreme Sandbox site for recreational and training/demo use.
What steps you gotta take to get driving one of these ??
Step one...watch more of our videos! Step two....find a set of keys!!!
Cat has started going to a joystick on left and right side
Yes, I’ve operated one of those. Definitely takes some getting used to but I think it makes sense for operator comfort.
What state do you hold your class in
How about a vid' on loading from a raised bench? What the drivers expect and how to work back along a bench with an excavator.
Wait, loading with a wheel loader from a raised bench? We do that with an excavator but can't say I've seen that with a wheel loader.
@@HeavyMetalLearning please read again. Suggestion for another vid WITH AN EXCAVATOR. Is the gulf between 'murica and Scotland sooo great I'm unintelligible? Regards from Scotland, your vid's have a lot of merit for folk wanting to do a bit around the farm with hired equipment.
