My favorite combination is Kickboxing, Street-Fighting, Wrestling. Strong clinch game, hard hitting knees and strong grapples. And to top it off you got a big haymaker to knock your opponent out with.
2nd best build in the game, has gr8 neutral heavy kick and 2 chain stun light grabs only downside is you can finish the clinch with punches. But despite that still one of the best caf builds in the game

I used to, when I was younger, pick KB, MA, and SM. But when I last played the game about a year ago, I picked WR instead of SB. I didn't realise that you can KO opponents when their health is in the red zone, with WR throws. That was a game changer for me 😎

SF + KB + MA is by far my favorite combo. This was actually the first combo I ever tested out and I missed it for the longest time. I also tried out MA + WR + SM but for some reason it just didn't feel as satisfying. Now that I reverted to my original combination I haven't looked back since 😅

SF/KB/WB and honestly the only combination i ever used. You can start with a kick boxing clinch, and slam them after, throw a haymaker to finish them off.
WR, SF + KB is a great style, toughness all the way, strong punches and kicks, not to mention the KB clinch, the SF homing haymaker, and, of course, WR hard grapples, which you can use them, after punishing your opponent with the KB kick clinches

Yeah yeah you got it there right. This style mix is almost invincible. Let me recommend you: KB SF + WR. Of course sadly you got short grapples but his kick n' punch combos are as fast as the devil himself.
Very unique. This game was our boys night every weekend, and I don't think anyone had your set-up. Most of my mates had characters that were huge with wrestling, street fighting and submission styles standing tall and stocky. I named my character "Pai Mei", made him 5 foot 10' and about 178 pounds. Starting with martial arts and adding kickboxing and submission later. The several years and 1,000+ humiliating them with my tiny fighter and seeing them lose their shit was so much fun 😊😊😊
In my opinion in the starter combination you should use Martial artist + king boxer + submissioner Is actually really good for counter attacks and defence and grapple attacks and offence because with the king boxer and martial artist you can give really hard hits and damaging opponents limbs like head,arms and this will help you a lot with the submissions and the offence because if the opponent will parry with low arms health even a weak punch will break his parry... You should try this combination because is good and really fun to play with... But my actual first combination when i started the is Street fighter + king boxer + submissioner.
My personal favorite stlye is: KB + WR + SF It's just devastating, though is close range, except for the haymaker punch. I really recommend it. You hit really hard and the clench attack plus a werstling move is an easy KO, also your punches are the fastest

I think I have got this one quite accidentally. Seeing as I usually start SF i really like to take KB en WR. In my opinion this remains probably the strongest combination. If you have the same styles you will be able to do the same for the most part, but i'm glad they add these special ones in there.
BauX Yeah usually when you put the same styles in different orders you usually get a similar mix But for Muay Thai kick boxing you gotta put that in that order to unlock the style It’s the only style that you have the clinch for a light grapple and heavy grapple with popular wrestling moves for the triangle moves For example to get drunken master You need MA + SF + WR in this order to get the style and stance
SF+KB+SM= MMA fighter. Stand ups, kicking, and ground and pound. I played the game at some point in hard mode and got enough points to max out all stats! Also, KB+SM is a good combo. Do a clinch, then switch to a arm or some other body part hold.
My fav combinations: SF+KB+SM -well rounded, easy to use, but strong AF SB+WR+KB - absolutely a killer if you like grappling. If you can handle this combination, you can KO your opponent very fast. Sometimes I like it more than my number 1. SB+WR+SF - an alternative grappler, but i think it's easier to use because of the haymaker which can take you out from a bad situation if you use it properly MA+KB+SM (or MA+SM+KB, those two is little bit different, but both are amazing) - I call this the real MMA pack. Fast as fuck, though as fuck, and in my opinion has the best combos, grapples and submissions. Strong and very-very lovely to see and use this fighting combo. My number 1.

You have everything in mind, the best attack style will always be street + street + street With devastating fist power, not even the character with the most HP in Def can stand in less than 1 minute

LOL I love it. I created a couple characters for this game a loooong time ago and (for some reason) was thinking about what style he had. I created the best one and the guy the had a badass almost a Baji Quan-esque style.
Wrestling, especially as a starting style, isn't very strong in itself. Yes, there are strong grapples and those will do a lot of damage. However the early game has a lot of Martial Artists who can stop you from ever touching them. In my opinion, Wrestling is a great add-on as second or third style, in order to improve grappling.
It's not my cup of tea. Of course it can be good. Nearly everything is good in this game. But do you know what's even better than fighting styles? Just the fun you have when playing. This is something i really miss in newer games.

3:36 wrong. You have 2 wrestling moves that actually do lead to a ko. Submissions (just like wrestling) as the ability to manually turn your opponent around.
In def jam ffny the takeover you can't force grapple your opponent when their down you need to wait for them to kneel or get up and time you grapple so the opponent can't escape lol i use crows combination by the way but i need a new method
Early game is going to be harder, since you don't have much raw power. If you get SF fast you will start hitting much harder while having good defence and WR will round out your grappling. It sounds really good all around, especially late game!

I use the same three fighting styles but in a different order. MA+KB+SF. Another combo that shocked me was KB+SF+WR. I beat the entire story mode and bonus fights without losing a single match on hard difficulty with that combo. All in a single school night lol Just hard grapple for the win!
3:36 wrong. You have 2 wrestling moves that actually do lead to a ko. Submissions (just like wrestling) as the ability to manually turn your opponent around.
I have a question, what does the "BEST" class combo u made in the vid? Is it muay thai, karate or etc?
It's difficult to say. I'm not sure it even has a combo label. I see it as more of an 'all-rounder'

In def jam ffny the takeover you can't force grapple your opponent when their down you need to wait for them to kneel or get up and time you grapple so the opponent can't escape lol i use crows combination by the way but i need a new method

It was my first time playing and i did 3 street fighting style and just heavy punch everyone until they were dead
I'm use SB+WR+SF for fun, But for the win, I use SB or WR+KB+SF
I've always found a combo of striking and grappling to be the best in terms of power and fun.

The best style was used by my brother. No wonder he always won.
Remember this is a subjective list ;) It's nowhere near scientifically proven to be the best.

is MA + SF + WR good?
Early game is going to be harder, since you don't have much raw power. If you get SF fast you will start hitting much harder while having good defence and WR will round out your grappling. It sounds really good all around, especially late game!

Yes it is actually. My first guy has this order and he is strong asf. His strikes is drunken fist which is epic!
Yes, he's good. Homing Haymaker, a really safe Neutral Heavy Kick, an infinite, and a true string. The character is actually pretty viable.
Kickboxing for clinches, wrestling for slams, and submissions for wind and blood chokes. Oh, and don't forget the arm bars.

Probably WR and KB. I'm not 100% sure what order lets you keep the haymaker but I'm sure it's possible.
@@SheDidntComeBack I tried kick boxing didn’t work, it replaced the haymaker with something else smh, I probably just make him straight street fighter then just make another character with combined styles, I was up last night trying to figure it out

I have Played def jam Every year since 2006. The Best combination is MA + SM + SF. Its anoying at beginning, but for Sure the strongest combination. Greetings from germany
