On December 9, 2020, the final meeting of the Trump adminstration's National Space Council was held in the Apollo Saturn V Center at the Kennedy Space Center. Council chair Vice President Mike Pence introduced astronauts who would be assigned to the Project Artemis human lunar space flight program.
