kars for kid, junkers for joy, and cash for clunkers are ran by the government to get old vehicles off the road and to crush them. it started in the 2000s and is why all the 70s-90s cars, especially the full sized "land yachts" are gone. its really sad. you never know about it until you buy one and cant find parts anywhere.
