That is so great an that no one seems bitter over the situation.
Why would they be bitter? None of them had control over the situation and I’m sure it brings so much closure to the twins who were adopted.
It helps that they all had happy childhoods

I feel like this was the biological mother of these four sisters working her magic from heaven. So glad to hear that the twins had a great upbringing.

My bio dad has been married 4 times and I met my oldest half brother when I was 15 and he was 30. We’re super close now & our MOMS are best friends!!! Both were married to our dad at one point. None of his kids have a relationship with him but because of him I have the best (albeit weird) family.
Shannon I am closest with my ex husband’s family than my own bio family. He has 3 sisters who I consider my sisters. Sometimes family is who is there to love you and support you. I think your family story is beautiful. ❤️
I just got reunited with a long lost(57 years) sister and niece a week ago. It was like filling a void in my life I never knew existed. So many tears..........of joy.

A few years ago, I did a random internet search for someone who knew how to find possible relatives or parents. WOW! The man I met on the Inet got some info from me and I figured I'll never hear from him again. Well I did!!! He called me back and told me he had located my wifes paternal father, who had unfortunantly passed but that she had two sisters on the west coast that she didn't know existed. Short story, One came to NC to check it out and we went to the west coast to meet the other. It ALL checked out. What a wonderful reunion, the love is endless. We are all still in awe of it all. If you suspect, then by all means do a DNA test and get surprised.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting, but to be clear, the two on the left are twins so they're full sisters. The two on the right were born years later and are also full sisters. However, each pair has a different father so the pairs are half sisters to each other.

@@MusicBoxAlsoWater Someone COULD interpret “half of them are only half sisters” and “half (2 of the 4) are half sisters” to mean that each MEMBER of each pair are half sisters, which isn’t true. This is an unusual situation in my experience. Usually, I hear of two people who are half siblings, not two people being half-siblings with 2 other people.

That must hurt to have two have great memories and 2 who do mot....but I believe mom who passed away was given a wish to grant a blessing for their loved ones they leave behind I believe she brought them together...and nothing happens by mistake...you never know how greatly your life impacts another's when you are using your natural talent your gift to share with others for some itscookimg counseling therapists surgeons janitors housekeeping bankers trash collectors astrophysicist or gardener...you have a thing that you do that while doing it you feel most alive like time has passed without being aware full of joy and completely content.

I’m confused. They didn’t do a good job of explaining that puzzle.
Same mom, different dads, twins on the left adopted, younger sisters on the right raised by mom. One of the twins move from Seattle (where adopted and raised) to Virginia Beach where younger sisters on the right were raised by mom. After moving a mutual friend introduced one of the Virginia Beach sisters to the Seattle twin because they looked so much alike. Fast forward after a an Ancestry.com DNA they learn they have the same mom. So the adopted twin from Seattle learned the younger sisters from Virginia Beach raised by mom were her sisters. And of course she told her twin still living in Seattle. Michael Strahan loved the story and shared it with us.

This was all because of DNA testing. Otherwise, they never would have known. No doubt thousands of people have died not knowing they had siblings out there.
I wish the sister would have more tact about loosing their mother. I know she is in pain, but the twins should be allowed to have ambivalent sentiment or even deeper pain about her since she left them and they could not meet her
Perhaps another interview can address your concerns. My guess is that this few minutes interview is just a general overview.

According to the piece, the twins were put up for adoption. The mom then moved to Virginia Beach and had two daughters with another man. Clearly, she never mentioned the twins.
