Carbonated Seltzer Water has no added minerals. Club Soda is so very close the two could be interchanged. Love any cooking and Disney recipes you put out. Thanks for sharing. These looks delicious with layers of flavors.

The Twice-Baked Vietnamese Beef tacos (now lettuce wraps) + a Carthay Martini are a must for me every time I'm in California Adventure.
Oh. My. God. Yes 100% LOL. That is (was) my exact order at the lounge. The wraps are ok but pale in comparison to the tacos.

Loved this Mike! You are a natural. Thanks for the tips and tricks along the way. They look amazing! As for seltzer, very common here in New England. Polar brand is the best! Seltzer and club soda are similar. Tonic is a different animal.

I have never noticed the difference between cluc soda and seltzer. Tonic definitely has a distinct taste and would probably alter the flavor. Fun vlog by the way. I love watching people cook.

I'm making them as soon as I get over this cold! If you get anything hot such as a pepper on your hands rub olive oil on them. Works great.

looks great - good to know that they aren't that salty given the 2 cups of Soy. I've made the Ohana wings a couple of time after seeing your video about those and they were great too! I think Seltzer is just carbonated /fizzy water. Tonic is definitely sweet with added quinine flavour so would avoid that.
Those look great. A lot of steps but looks totally worth it. Unfortunately Carthay Circle has removed so much of their menu. I asked about that on our last visit and was told that they’re having a difficult time with manpower in the kitchen so they had to pare the menu down. Of course they still have that awesome vodka martini with blue cheese olives……..Thanks for sharing.
seltzer water is def different from tonic water because tonic water has sugar but pretty much the same as club soda as far as I'm aware. lol love your videos and hope you do more cooking ones!

Great recipe! Tonic and seltzer are NOT the same…we don’t have any problem finding seltzer here in the northeast.

Club soda would have worked, its seltzer+salt. Tonic would have ruined everything with quinnine bitterness that you associate with a Gin and Tonic. Oh no, when going in with hands have a wet hand and a dry hand it helps! 🤣
Club Soda = Seltzer water = Carbonated water
Tonic water is not the same!

I am planning a December trip to Disney and am going to try for a ressie for Carthay. No idea of what to order.
Seltzer water should just be unsweetened and unflavored seltzer which should be with soda we have plenty of it in nj
