At 6.30 in video what I think he is doing is closing the air valve to the bag. Once the lift bag is full the bubbles coming out of it are just from the expansion of gas as the pressure gets less and less as he gets closer to surface.

Amazing dive, speedy process. Seems like only 3'20" to reach depth and return? Definitely need to grab and hold strong to the sled. Maybe some safety straps or something so he wont get left behind accidentaly during the deeper part, safety divers wont be available there. On the return he's probably preparing himself to release and make sure no entanglements, dont want to get dragged unintentionally with that speed.

Idea: maybe do a skype call to Andrea and interview on what is happening, and why he did it the way he did it?
Most people have no clue to what goes into such deep NO-Limits dive. (equipment design, testing, training of crew, diver, sponsors, logistics, etc etc.)
I actually have same thoughts!
Great video. For him stepping to the side and holding on during the ascent, I guess the reason is to stay away from the bubbles from the lifting bag (and it is probably more fun / better feeling).
