T’Challa is the man. He had the wisdom of a benevolent king.

the really rough thing is that while Steve knew that Hydra killed Howard, he didn't know that *Bucky* killed Howard. Yeah, they all need group therapy.

The thing about the MCU is all the characters are complicated. Cap is my favorite but Tony is interesting. Everything he's learned from Iron Man 1 is that he has to do it himself. As you said, the gov tried to bomb NY and he (they) had to save it. He starts to trust Cap and others a bit but in the end, his vision in Age of Ultran showed him that he wasn't doing enough and that there was something worse coming. There was a bigger threat out there and they had to be ready. He tried to create Ultran to do that and it failed so he kept trying just like when he failed to make the suit on his first try. 1 failed creation doesn't stop him from trying. Next iteration. Vision. Wasn't enough. The Accords don't matter to him b/c he's going to ignore them anyway. He'll sign what he needs to sign and do what he needs to do b/c getting the world ready is what's important. Cap is actually very similar in a lot of ways but comes at it from a different perspective having lived through WWII and having seen what happens from things like the Accords.... They're both right and they're both wrong. It's interesting and complicated.

i love this analysis!! bc yes i can so see where they’re both coming from so i think the side you fall on is really just where your own values lie bc there’s right and wrong to go around.
i wish tony would stand up for what he actually believed instead of signing them while knowing he wouldn’t *really* adhere to them, but i can also see the strategy in playing the long game.
if i was doing like an actual analysis i feel like i could make it more clear that i do think it’s nuanced but reacting im like okay a, i personally agree with steve and b, im emotional and i like steve so im going to bat for him HARD 😂

In the comics they were originally called infinity gems. I don't remember when they switched to being called stones.

We need a road trip buddy comedy with Anthony Mackie, Chris Evans, and Sebastian Stan. Similar to Due Date from 2010

This movie is most MCU fans top 5 if not top 3. I can never really decide where my favorites are but I know this is definitely top 5 for sure.

Nah, not ridiculous to think Winter Soldier is the best MCU movie, certainly it's the best Captain America movie. Civil War isn't bad, but like you said, it's a lot of Tony Stark fucking up and setup for other movies, the plot gets pretty messy because of everything they're trying to cram in.
