    Salute to you Boss talk for always standing on business! Ppl be trying to change history, no Limit movement was like no other! If p didn't break the door down, cmr would just be local. Bout it song n movie, showed the world how we was in New Orleans. East n West didn't respect the South until no Limit. Cash money took advantage of that, which was Smart by baby n Slim💯

    P represented the essence of Louisiana as a whole. Juvie represented the essence of New Orleans.

  • @highcee11

    Juve was out way before Master P. Cash Money had big records before No Limit. No Limit popped "Nationwide " first. But he was right, it's Juvenile, because if you go back, P sound was more Westcoast, than New Orleans sound. When P went to the N.O. sound, the rest was history. Even Mystikal blew up before No Limit( Boot Camp Click). Ijs.

    • @BruceDragon-sf1tr
      @BruceDragon-sf1tr Před 2 měsíci +2

      You trying to tell this story bro with a piece of the truth and the rest is 🧢.
      Now it's either you really didn't know the truth or you knew the truth and decided to shape it how you see fit.
      When you said Cash Money was out before No Limit, you were correct but about Master P sounded more Westcoast was a Lie, Master P little underground albums even when he was in the Bay, he sounded like he was a southern rapper, maybe some of his lingo was Cali, and the instrumentals were a little Westcoast kinda style but Master P sounded country his entire music career.
      And Mystikal was not major until he signed with No Limit. The little bootcamp song was just something that got Mystikal feet in the door.
      If you knew you were 🧢ing , don't ever do that again when discussing history, especially black people history. You're telling the young people that wish to know it and you're telling it wrong. This is important, it's not about me and you arguing about it, if so you knew, just apologize to the youth that's here reading these comments and if they see you that mature about it, they will think 🤔, "it's useless to think we're right when its more important for the truth". At the end of the day, we all WON black people

    • @highcee11
      @highcee11 Před 2 měsíci +3

      @BruceDragon-sf1tr Obviously you want attention. I never said Master P rapped WestCoast. I said his music had a WestCoast sound. You talking about him sounding "country", No Shit Sherlock. Juvenile was a bounce artist first, and bounce is a New Orleans staple. Cash Money had UNLV, "Drag Em Up The River", a hit in the South. Mystikal had 2 albums on Jive Records that were both big in the South, years before he went to No Limit. The 🧢in all this is that you thought you were giving me some history, Obviously, that's Cap. And as I also stated, once P, got with KLC, and Moe B, and went back to making music that sounded more like the New Orleans sound(not his dialect), i.e. I'm Bout It...That's when it jumped, then Cash Money went back in the lab, new roster, and they followed No Limits success. Go fight some other crime.

    Honestly, it's refreshing when we get to hear from behind the scene as a No Limit Fan from tapes to cds. we actually took pride in reading the credits on those 💿 cds, which allowed us to know who was who, so to be frank. Maybe he just trying to spice the convo up a little more. Sometimes a real Podcaster or journalist has to play different roles, a director, vocalist, professionalism, coach . They can't be stale or the interview could not do what it was supposed to. These are skills, notice the new Podcasters or whatever not that good until they really start learning.

    I feel like I'm Bout It the movie Embodied New Orleans in my opinion and I'm From Atlanta. I feel like Juvenile Embodied New Orleans as well during the late 2000s. Soulja Rag was hard, but Ha. The whole 400 Degreez album was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.. But Cash Money was about Stuntin, No Limit was more Rugged and gritty in my opinion because of Cmurder, Soulja Slim, Mac, Magic, Marcello, Kane and Able.

    I’m not sure if E CEO is getting it misconstrued but you can’t argue with a New Orleanian on what rapper embodies the culture of the city. Same way if the question was asked about Houston , an outsider opinion don’t matter. Now hands down, no argument Master P put New Orleans on the map period. Who embodies and immersed in the culture ? Thats Juvie, and this a Calliope dude telling you that.

    I wish Boss Talk quick arguing with Var, cause he not from New Orleans..No Limit was bigger outside of New Orleans.P started No Limit in California ans came back home to the N.O...Cash Money started in N.O. and represented more of the autheticity of New Otleans culture, even though most No Limits artist was from the city and were real also..Boss Talk you wring bruh..Also people in the N.O. and outside of New Orleans talked about Silk rapping offbeat and thought he was wack. So it is what it is..I feel like Boss is just in his bag and in his regional midset..Juvie definitely mkre representative of New Orleans ..P was doing his thing in the Bay, before he came home.😂 Var knows what he talking about..He from the city..⚜️⚜️⚜️Boss Talk 🤫🤫🤫Listen bruh.
