Join us for a walk around an abandoned industrial centre in Alderwasley, Ambergate, Derbyshire, UK. This was our first time here and we found the mix of abandoned urban buildings and the beautiful rural nature of the English countryside very interesting. Amazing how quickly nature reclaims what is hers.

Alderwasley is a village and civil parish in the Amber Valley district of Derbyshire, England. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 census was 469. Alderwasley Hall is the home to one of the sites of Alderwasley Hall School which is a special school for children and young people with Aspergers and/or Speech and Language Difficulties. It is about six miles north of Belper.

Thank you. Must admit I've got a bit of a fascination with places like this. Will have to find more, the only problem is half of them are restricted in some way. Apparently the area in this video is covered by CCTV and if you step out of line they shout at you over a tannoy 😂
