  • Ferrari’s 2024 season has gone off to a stellar start, as it seems like the Maranello team is ready to challenge Red Bull for race wins on a weekly basis. However, in order to do that, they need a couple of big upgrade packages, with the first one coming in Imola, and what is massively positive here is that the team principal, Fred Vasseur, believes it would be more than enough to compete for the race win on their home turf. But with Red Bull bringing their own upgrade package as well, could we see a proper fight on the top, and more importantly, can McLaren join the race and give us the long-awaited 6-man fight for the win?

      How exactly was Lando lucky? If max was right behind him on restart and lost in pure pace? Before you say: *damage* Verstappen said the damage wasn't that significant.

    I think the current car has proved to be a good package, it’s a big gamble to change both cars. Ferrari will only know if the floor will work when racing. So the media excitement is over cooking the pot!

    With all these news and over-hyping this upgrade package with whatever naming (Ferrari 2.0 or -0.4s advantage), I hope it will not be a complete let-down and in the end we hear, Max Verstappen wins the Imola Grandprix...😮‍💨

    Isn't it favoritisme, allowing Ferrari 200KM (100 per driver)with new upgrades, giving them alot of information about the new parts ? To be honest, with new development of safety or w/e the FIA should allow all teams to do X kilometers of testing with it.

      Every team gets the 200km testing, Ferrari just decided to do it now instead of Barcelona or Hungary, you must be new

    • @FormulaNewsToday
      @FormulaNewsToday  Před 25 dny +4

      All teams are allowed to do this “test”, because it’s technically for a filming day, but they can test the upgrades at the same time

    Let's be honest here. What Ferrari needs is for Red Bull to just not show up for a race or two and hope they can keep up with Lando & Pia! That's closer to the truth.
