Imy L it would have been cool to be able to buy houses in every town, and to be able to customize them a bit more. Maybe pay to add another room, move furniture around, paint the walls, etc... Maybe even have a roomate xD.
As of now. "From the Ground Up" probably has to be my favorite quest line. Not only do you get a town with a free in and cheaper arrows. The quest line is just down right enjoyable and you feel this really wonderful sensation of accomplishment once you finish. I hope Nintendo does more quests like this in the future.
My third time playing, the first thing I did after I finished bringing the blue flame to purah was buying that house and getting all those installments just so I could start working on Tarrey town. I thought it would be fun if I let tarrey decided what divine beasts I would fight first so after I gave him ten bundles of wood to build some houses he said he would need a strong Gordon to help him remove the boulders so guess where I went first, and so on. I highly recommend letting Tarrey decide the path of your game. (-;
Eh, it wasn’t that fun for me finding all of them. I will say though, I did get some satisfaction whenever I heard that little jingle. It’s so satisfying I love it.
its also one of my favorite side quests. it feels so satisfying and the wedding afterwards is heartwarming and makes it feel like you've done something really special _even if you are the hero to save everyone or whatever_
Tarrey town was actually the reason I went to go do Rudania, I decided to go off road to get to goron city and ended up missing the south mines where the goron I needed was ;-; I got to goron city in like 6 minutes going off road so I guess that's an up
And people complain they got too many sidequests plus too many npcs...its confusing for them. But this is exactly what I love about this game! It makes it feel so alive

This whole adventure is something you do alone but this quest shows you all the friends you've made along the way. Great memories, thanks Nintendo
I beat the game tonight and this sidequest (Hudson/music) is the thing I will remember the most fondly about Breath of the Wild. For me, it was the thing that felt the most "Zelda".
Well, to be honest Botw is the beginning of a new Zelda "feel". Dont forget that Botw plays 10000 years after OoT, that is a very long time and Hyrule moved on. It got very technologicall but after Calamity Ganon returned Hyrule was mostly destroyed and Link got fatally injured, hence of why he was brought to the shrine on the Plateu. After Link woke up from his 100 years sleep, the world of Hyrule became a post-apocalyptic world. The people living in Hyrule just begann to build up cities again, but couldt make them very big or grand because of the treat of Calamity Ganon. And Link lost his memories in his long sleep, that is why everything feels different than what we players are used from Zelda. Botw is not supposed to be a fun adventure, it is in its own way a very serious game despite the colorfull and grand world. Sometimes it really scratches the mark of the uncanny vally kind of trope. We see the world of Botw through Links eyes as he struggels to regain his memories and his full abilitys (since people tend to forget that Link was already a brilliant knight of Hyrule before his 100 years sleep, every other previous "main" Link were people that just begann learning on how to be a knight like Skyward Sword Link or were just kids thrown into an adventure like OoT Link. The reason of why there are no "classical" collectable Heart Containers in Botw is because the Link in Botw already had all of his hero abilitys he just forgot them but they were still in his muscles and the shrines just helped him to remind him mentally of his abilitys, there was no need for him search for Heart Containers in the classical way). And of why there are no big dungeons in Botw is because they are probablly all rotten completely away or completely destroyed by Calamity Ganon. They not in Hyrule anymore. I think when the future Zelda games continue after Botw time line then there will be traditional Dungens again because the people of "new" Hyrule built new ones after the Calamity was defeated. And i must say that Botw feels like a playable Studio Ghibli movie. The soundtrack of Botw sounds like Joe Hisaishi himself composed soundtrack himself. And the plot of Botw is very Studio Ghibli like because of the melancholic athmosphere of Botw. And if there will be a Zelda movie one day, Studio Ghibli would be the perfect choice to make a "Zelda" movie. And the one Studio Ghibli movie which is very similiar to Botw is Nausicaa: Vally of the Wind.
10000 years after OoT bruh? That's like the amount of time four swords & OoT have lol. BotW is at least 20,000 years after any Zelda game in the timeline, unless somehow they found the Shiekah technology immediately after one of the games
Tarrey Town is such a beatiful place. I love the weird colorful and blocky houses, I love the music, I love the sidequest. The atmosphere of the place is so nice and comfy. Also seeing all the races of hyrule all in this one little place is nice. If I had to choose a town to live in, It'd definitely be Tarrey Town.....I would have to change my name to comply with the Bolson Construction Company guidelines, though.
I was listening to the BotW soundtrack playlist when I stumbled upon this theme. "Tarrey Town" meant nothing to me, so I looked it up on Google to realize that there is a huge quest devolved to the construction of an entire town, and that I missed it. I've already played ~50h (not finished it yet), and now I know what I am going to do next.

Tarrey Town is such a beautiful place. Even though there is still so much evil in the world of this game. This new little place is of peace and friendly people who have come for a new start. You can look back and remember that you built this new place and bought these people from everywhere to this one little town where they now live and thrive in happiness and harmony. Tarrey Town also teaches us all a valuable lesson in life. In spite of such evil, there are still good people in it in this world. And it shows us how the little individual tasks we do in our daily lives can amount to so much more in the end.
Fun fact: The 30% of people in the comments that either are saying Animal Crossing or talking about the quest, have no idea what us Rogue Lineage players are talking about. 60% of us Rogue Lineage players are here for snail, and the last 10% including me are here for both Rogue Lineage and The Legend of Zelda BOTW
I only really played this game this year, I love how everything about this game is perfect and even as an adult it will be something that I will always remember like a child remembers their first video game
I'm quite a big roleplayer, and I like to traverse the world as much as possible without using fast travel, so after a long day (or a few long days) of travelling, to be able to return to Tarrey Town, hear this music come in, and see everyone doing their own things, it feels so peaceful!
110 bundles of wood, 4 domains, Greyson, Rhondson, Fyson, Kapson, Karl, and Bolson. Found a fairy fountain and Kilton's shop. I laughed, I cried, and I got 3 diamonds. 100% worth it.
Sounds like end credits for some feel good 80's Sitcom. First time I sent someone off to Tarrey Town I skipped through the conversation and then this song started playing and they walked off and said ok I'll leave. I was like oh shit I'm sorry you dont have to leave!

Tarrey Town is such a beautiful place. Even though there is still so much evil in the world of this game. This new little place is of peace and friendly people who have come for a new start. You can look back and remember that you built this new place and bought these people from everywhere to this one little town where they now live and thrive in happiness and harmony. Tarrey Town also teaches us all a valuable lesson in life. In spite of such evil, there are still good people in it in this world. And it shows us how the little individual tasks we do in our daily lives can amount to so much more in the end.
It's just satisfying to have been pounced by howlers and nearly getting frostbite to just get in, close the doors, and enjoy the music.
Man, we're all gonna come back some years from now and it's gonna get hella nostalgic. It's already getting nostalgic...

Tarrey Town is just so cozy. I love it so much. From the music to the aesthetic Nintendo really knocked that side quest location out of the park.

Inspirational and nostalgic! The Tarrey Town theme is one of my favorites in all of the Zelda series. Reminds me of childhood :)
I'm quite a big roleplayer, and I like to traverse the world as much as possible without using fast travel, so after a long day (or a few long days) of travelling, to be able to return to Tarrey Town, hear this music come in, and see everyone doing their own things, it feels so peaceful!

110 bundles of wood, 4 domains, Greyson, Rhondson, Fyson, Kapson, Karl, and Bolson. Found a fairy fountain and Kilton's shop. I laughed, I cried, and I got 3 diamonds. 100% worth it.
