Yes Ive researched this and have followed him as long as I can remember .Him and his father played together all the time when he was a youngster. I learned a lot from my Dad about Ham radio, but I'll never be the guy he was. He built his own radio from a kit in 63. Then he had free rain of Mather Air Force Bases surplus radio parts. He and I built him a Ham shack in the garage and he was able to talk to anyone around the world. But they call these smartphones and there no smarter than the person behind it.

YA WONT REGRET it. No Illinois show this year. We got to see him at his last social distance show in Schaumburg Illinois last summer.
