In City Of Angels Amenadiel breaks Luci's heart when Amenadiel called him evil. This shows how much they both have grown and healed.
And when he realized it the look on his face was like ohhh nooo I’m a bad brother 😭
Honestly I’m really happy how they came out of this as brothers who got each other’s backs for thick or thin. Lucifer gives the godhood up to be a healer and Amenadiel being worthy

How much their relationship has grown. Season 1 they couldn’t stand each other, but that final part. Lucifer sayings he’s grateful to his older brother just loved how they’ve grown and come full circle 👏😭👏

Amenadiel the most underrated supporting character he had faith in Lucifer even when Luci didn't he was there for Lucifer even when Luci wanted him not to be, truly a brother he is the Devil's Guardian Angel 😭😭
That scene where Lucifer tried to shun his brother for wanting to be there for him was painful. Lucifer felt he didn't deserve love but Amenadiel saw through all the horrible crap he was saying to him & was still there for him.

The way he said "You can't get rid of me that easily" hit way different. Like, the way he said goodbye to him and Maze was painful depressing cause you KNOW if they knew what was about to happen they both would've turned the world upside down to protect him
Amenadiel is a different case though. He can see Lucifer whenever he wants, unlike Maze
@@trondadon2527 he can take Maze with him to visit Lucifer or Lucifer can take some time out from his job and visit Maze and his other friends, maybe even Chloe (as long as he stays out of Rory´s life)

not gonna lie amenadiel really hit the spot right on he's transformation from S1 to S6 is amazing he learned that to understand humanity you first have to be part of humanity and that's just so fcking poetic
And no longer wanted to kill his brother. Was a crazy ride & this was one of the few great moments in a weak final season
Funnily enough, that seems to be one of the underlying themes of the show: celestial beings learning to be more human, and healing, by becoming more vulnerable amongst humanity. An example is when Lucifer tries to explain to his Dad or Mom that the antics they get up to, like walking around bloody, or exploding a person is something you just don’t do on Earth.
I love how Lucifer is fully approving and happy for Amenadiel. They're really good siblings
They have came such a LONG way since season 1.
They hated each other then progressively got closer and closer.

I don’t think it was hate. I think a lot of it was anger about being rejected or being misunderstood and I think Lucifer hit out at his brother because his brother was there. Being called evil and cast as the black sheep might make you want to be the black sheep. Up until recently, not one angel has bother to reach out to Lucifer and the only interaction that Lucifer had with his siblings is when they try and force their dad will onto him which makes him want to rebel more. At least that’s my take on it
This is first time amendieal has told luci clearly what he wanted and luci understanding that yes its what his brother wants unlike in past both had rat race,he even gave the joint ownership to his brother the growth they have

You know, in most shows "Being God is what I truly desire" would be the kind of thing a villain says during a maniacal rant. Here, it's a heartwarming self-actualization and acceptance of responsibility.
Also he knows lucifer always says the truth. Thats why he took what he said so deep in his heart
They both have grown so much since the first episode. Loved the ending❤️
Lol. Yeah. Maybe that's been the problem. Always with the whole "mysterious ways". There's a time and place to let people figure things out. Sometimes what people need is a direction and guide. They don't necessarily need to be told what to do. They just need a little direction. Everything in balance.

The growth of both Lucifer and Amenadiel undergo during the series is at the heart of this scene. From not standing each other (more out of a sense of duty than anything else really since Amenadiel's anger was directed at Lucifer abandoning his duty) to being willing to die for each other their growth was perhaps the most significant throughout the series closely followed by Maize. As for the ending which so many say they dislike what was created was a bootstrap paradox of a sort where everything that happened depends on something else and it is impossible to define the beginning and the end.
Man watching the two of them have such an emotional conversation as actual brothers. It seems like it was just yesterday that Lucifer was telling Amenadiel he couldn’t wait to eat his heart out
The whole story has an advanced society touch, like the myths about Atlanteans. Also the references to the Sumerians are remarkable.
Just love these two 🥰 My fav couple of brothers 💖
Always loved their dynamic. Season one they were always fighting each other, but over time they would fight alongside each other!

yeah but no , this shit doesn t happen in real life :) You re most likely ending up with a screwed up relationship with your siblings usually , all smiles at the front and staby staby on the back . This is the kind of broski stuff you would have with a best friend , but definitely not with a brother :) Don't get me wrong i love my brothers , but man can they piss me off just as much :)

I was so conflicted about this scene, because it's a nice scene, but the fact that Amenadiel doesn't realise what Lucifer is really saying, shows that he really isn't ready to be god.
I think, for starters, that he wasn't God yet so a lot of things would easily fly over his head. He couldn't even feel the presence of his niece Rory.

I mean as a sibling myself who has had to say goodbye to my brothers and sisters I can tell you most time i knsw when they were trying to say goodbye but i wuld subconsciously avoid the topic because if I addressed the topic then I would be admitting that this is goodbye and that's another way I which u can view this scene as in Amandiel knowing truth but constantly dodging and interrupting lucifer to avoid actually having to say goodbye
Not only Lucifer and Chloe have come a long way , the relationship between lucifer and Amenadiel also has in their very own way. They have grown so much. " Because you are my favorite brother. Brother" . That whole Episode was an emotional ride. 😢
I just learned about this series a couple of days ago and have been watching clips ofc i saw its a Jerry Bruckheimer series which means it is well written and superbly acted as all of the ones I've seen are and I am so sad to learn it only lasted 7 seasons and is over. I have never bought anything like a series or whatever online but I'm considering buying this one! it is just so good!

From the perspective of immortals it's more like going on TDY or ocean fishing for a few months.
We literally see amenadiel celebrate charlies birthday, he also does his work on earth and his siblings are helping out so he isn't full time. And luci well the reasoning is pretty much explained and I'm pretty sure rory is gonna visit him and chloe after chloe dies because well she completed her plan.
