With diaboromon aces effect, it adds 2 to the cost for each diaboromon, not each other diaboromon, so with 2 tokens and itself it would be 9 cost not 7.
Another thing to remember is that Dia Ace’s pop effect also triggers if your opponent plays any digimon by an effect. You can catch your Solooga/Fenrilooga opponents off guard. Shademon could be a cute tech choice for a blocker as it triggers Ace if it’s hit out of security, but also an Unidentified so searchable by BT5 Kera. Thanks for the Dia games man!
Pre-BT14 I preferred the BT5 Diaboromon as the main, because it helped you get more tokens on-board if you were thin on Aratas and the deck really needs you to be hitting your tokens.
i play very casually and online so i rely on awesome deck profiles like this, i was bored waiting for a friend so i decided to test this deck solo, and od the stars align and you get 4 Arata on board the deck just becomes incredibly scary. bearing in mind creative liberties have been taken i was able to generate up to 13 tokens, again this is testing and in a best case star aligning once in a blue moon scenario
Stole the show (and the top) at my locals with Diaboromon. Vademon and Trident Arm were the MVPs for me (plus Diaboromon Ace, of course. Without that bad boy i couldn't have gotten too far), with honorary mentions for promo Sunarizamon, P-016 Diaboromon, and Quartzmon. Man, those were some intense games. This deck seriously needs some more recognition, especially from Bandai. I already did my part making a few meta players stop seeing it as a mere meme deck lol
More good techs for the archetype! Blocker strats: **ST15 Tai**, Trident Arm and/or Laplace's Demon. Level 5: Vademon. Great video, but you forgot promo infermon. Just kidding, that one deserves to be forgotten.
@@AVAULT For my own speculation: I've mostly thought of a Delay Option card involving counters on it to represent a timer, and number of Diaboromon in play affects how much the counters are adjusted towards a threshold for the win con.
I played mine very close to your build, but you need to have something that can get rid of pillowmon or similar. It stopped me in my tracks. I went with dg dimension.

Bandai did announce more Diaboromon support, including an alt win con, they did NOT specify what card will have it.
