Secret Trail Camera Left on Island for 70 Days!

- I put a trail camera on a heavily wooded island in the middle of a mountain river for 70 days to see what went on. When it was pretty quiet, I decided to scatter corn in the middle of the trail to get the animals coming around. That's when everything came out to play! Watch as deer, geese, raccoons and other animals grow up throughout the spring.
Keeping trying new things and leveling up in real life!

What I Believe: bit.ly/3m2WLqQ
Believe it or not, you’re partly responsible for that doe giving birth at that spot! Deer along with almost all other mammals will give birth near safe, and food abundant locations where they think their young will have plenty to eat and will thrive, very cool to see how they hang around that spot!! Thanks for sharing 👍
I couldn’t help but being in awe that the little baby deer, who was just one day old, knew instantly to take cover when his mom sensed danger. The instinct to survive is mind blowing! And there from day one in animals! It proclaims loudly of a Creator who instilled that in them so all animals can survive! Leaves no doubt in my mind that God masterfully designed ALL of this and makes me love and respect Him so much. I was literally tearing up. And then you posted that Bible verse and I LOVED it! The Bible says nature will proclaim His existence and this video did just that. I think He had the river flood so you could get this footage so some would see it and be led to Him ❤️
An island in a flooded river is probably the best nursery that doe could ask for
That's just unbelievable how that deer and her fawn spent all of that time right in view of the camera. I've never seen anything like that before on a trail cam. My face hurts from smiling so much.
I believe that's a Pileated (sp?) Woodpecker, Woody woodpecker. The black bird with the iridescent blue head and yellow eyes is a grackle. Nice trail cam footage.
Aww that doe brought you her baby to say thank you for all the corn.
Please make more videos about animals.
Brother 😂😂😂 the Bigfoot was unexpected and kinda scared me 😂
I immediately went to the comment section when I saw that. Lol, wtf Ace!
😢
Same
Totally 😂 I was like “WHAT THE #£||!”
What was that creature?
At 10:28 that is a Pileated Woodpecker! They are beautifully striking and one of my favorites, also being one of the largest woodpeckers we have in North America. Always a joy to see or capture 😊
That was incredible. Big Foot scared the crap out of me for a second 😅
Pretty sure the other woodpecker was a pileated woodpecker. Biggest woodpecker in North America
Thanks, man. That doe and fawn sure was great here. Beautiful.
Once again Ace shows why he's the youtube GOAT.
I might be the goat but you are THE chicken!
@@AceTrailCamera Yes sir! Keep em bangers coming!
"And then whatever that creature was"😂
😂 that part at 9:00 was rather freaky 😂 I didn’t know what was going on.
He captured Sasquatch in his 70 day trail camera.
This is incredible! Glad that river flooded!
9:00 "what ever that creature was" 😂😂
I love how the tiny geese followed their parent to chase away the bad guy!
my mother died right before Christmas just a little over a month ago, and I couldn't help but tear up watching that mother deer and fawn on the trailerl. such a beautiful sight to witness, thank you!
There is nothing more precious than a newborn fawn
You’re back! Loved the footage, keep it up!
The last part with Fawn and it's Mama was so beautiful! A very nice spot on the Island! Thank you for sharing!
This video was awesome! Thank you for sharing.
Such a cool video! Thanks for sharing God’s creation with us.
Great footage...the doe and fawn were.lovely and thw woodpeckers and blue jays too
Very cool to see the deer and goose behavior.
17:20 you can actually see what the mother deer was chasing off as she goes after it, something raccoon sized.
That's a pileated woodpecker! We used to have them in TN!!😊 Ha ha.. was that Bigfoot? 😮 Awe, that mama and baby deer are so precious! Great footage, Aca! I loved it! The verse at the end if your video is awesome. ❤
It's not impossible that the deer smelled the corn. However, much more likely is that they followed the birds that were eating. From my understanding, and what I have seen while hunting, deer will often follow birds to find their food.
The little Fawn is so precious - Happy Holidays and all the best for 2024 🎄
This without a doubt is your BEST video yet! Great job! Looking forward to your next one
Lovely video Ace! I was in a bad mood today, then I saw your video and now I am good!
@4:40 Anyone notice that goose is banded?
Amazing trailcam footage❤
The large woodpecker is a Pileated Woodpecker.
It’s too bad this video hasn’t gotten the same attention as the other food ones. What you caught there was really beautiful. Thank god for that flood!

WoW, that was a nice woodpecker (10:23), we get the small ones like the previous smaller ones in the vid, but nothing like that beauty. Guessing, pileated woodpecker. Beware the weird daytime raccoon. Beautiful and amazing video Ace, thanks! It was so nice to see your video come up in my suggested videos today.
I teared up a little at the psalm citation at the end there.
Loved the commentary. Subscribed today.

I walked upon a baby deer like the one in your film. I looked at it but didn't touch it. I went back later, and it was gone.
Next time sit it next to a watering hole you will be amazed 🥳🧡🧡
What kind of trail camera do you use? The footage is incredible
Just a good ol' Browning camera with 1080p video.
That baby is so cute!! Awesome that you got it on camera! ❤❤
Perfection!! ❤
So happy to see you back!!
I can’t be the only one who was extremely psyched to see you upload this today! I thoroughly enjoy your narration and the footage of the animals is beautiful! I’d worry about the one creature though x)

great video! made my morning!
That was really beautiful...❤...
Great video and wonderful luck! Always excited to see a new trail cam video from you
The reality is, when a mom deer walks or runs away from her fawn, its primary instinct is to lie down and not move until she returns.
Whether she returns in a minute or two, or a day later, it will remain there and wait for her.
A doe will 'put their fawn down' and go and feed. They may have to tour a distance to get enough nutrients to satisfy the milk creation needs for the fawn, and over millions of years they have developed this system where the fawn has the instinct to stay right there and await her return. A predator would literally have to actually physically stumble on the fawn to know it was even there.
The most interesting part is that the fawn has absolutely no scent at all to attract a predator, no scent at all, which is how moms can wander away from them with little danger. This is evolution is action. The species has solved how to feed mom and not putt the child ... that literally cant walk that far ... at risk.
In these parts (BC Canada) we see this all the time and every year the message has to get out that if you see a fawn alone ... dont touch it and dont approach it, it does not need help. IF you do touch it because it is cute and neat ... mom will likely abandon it on her return ... so its a thing here. Every year there always a dimwit who picks it up and takes it to the SPCA, which results in it going to a game farm for the rest of its life.
Yes a year thing for sure !! :)
Big hello from Scotland. Fantastic video.
