I love kaolin clay in my soaps and shower steamers as well. If you left the citric acid out and mix all the other ingredients and then add the citric acid there will be no fizz reaction

Cups and spoons aren't as accurate. Just get a cheap scale and then your measurements will always be consistent. Things weigh differently and you could end up using more or less of something when using cups and spoons.
Good video, but I would have left the botanicals/dried flowers out as they have no benefit (except visual appeal) in a shower steamer. They will make a mess on the shower floor and potentially clog the drain if enough wash down there.
can you use these in a bath like a bath bomb?
No they are meant to be put on the floor of your shower. The indirect water spray (you don't want them directly in the water as they will dissolve too fast) will hit them and they will release scent into the shower/bathroom. Most are made with menthol and essential oils-it's aromatherapy for the shower.
